does it make you feel cool to come in here and make comments to those of us who are still watching the team?
maybe you should just go to another thread and continue to defend the sad sack oilers.

I defended the Eskimos for many years, if you've been paying attention. But now they are just indefensible.

Only double Rum n Cokes make it bearable.

This is the second or third weekend in row where the doubleheader from hell has happened.

What scheduling.

Karma what Karma.

If the Oilers started Kavis Reed in goal, maybe he'd get hit in the nuts with a puck.

Trading Dubnyk for Reed would probably improve the fortunes of both teams.

Stupid 2013 Eskimos. I keep caring and they keep kicking me in the nards. The saddest part? I'll be back at Commonwealth for more when the first place Calgary Stampeders roll into town this Friday night.

The only slight glimmer of optimism I have is that CFL franchise turnarounds often seem to occur more quickly than those in the NHL. 2014 is an expansion season which will more likely hurt the 6 better teams than it will the weak-sister Esks & Bombers.

The hope is, with the season finally and mercifully mathematically lost, that Reed will play his bum buddy Kerry Joseph for the last 3 games of the year. Behind our porous offensive line and lame schemes, it should be enough to get him maimed and finish off his career once and for all. It's like a vampire that finally needs to be killed so it can't come back next year to haunt us, no matter what.

Why not just go as a tombstone?

"Here lies the 2013 Eskimos. They extended Kavis Reed."

I figured a headless Kavis Reed riding in on a jackass with no name with a placard around its neck stating "The eskimo way" was the way to go.

Go big or go home.

I was going to say to go as the Grim Reaper, dressed in green & yellow. Or the original black hooded cloak will work too. Show zero emotion the whole game and if your seats are close enough to the Eskimos bench so you can see Reed's eyes if/when he turns around, slowly raise a bony, skeleton hand and point a finger at him.

Or go dressed as a Leafs fan and throw waffles at him and the team.

Either one.

Looks like you've been doing it for a longtime. Great minimalist lines in best cartoonic sense.

I think the trouble is your drawings were born to lampoon. You have a brilliant sense of the ridiculous. Not so good as flattering depictions.

You're not yet ready for the portrait business.

well, i was taught academic sketching and painting years ago... never was a huge success at that. i hadn't laid my hand upon drawing tools in maybe over a decade until these recent days

Yeah, I thought you had a lot of background and quite the artistic flare. your lines have brilliant cunning wit. Great satire, evokes the best political cartoons in my mind.

I'm glad if you're enjoying this. For sure we all are and your work is a true gift to the board.

My god. This was the worst season to be an Eskimo fan ever.

I will always cheer for them but I cannot accept the fact that they would even think of keeping a coach that has gone what 5 and 20 over the past how many months?

Sadly, it's a joke that isn't even worth laughing at anymore. I just feel so sad.

Ow well, Eskimos suck. Koo-koo-ka-choo, Mrs. Robinson, Edmonton fans turn their lonely eyes to the Oilers for hope.

Not.

least we don't have Drew Tate on the club. What a Grade A jackass.

Nothing like a small ****er giving the in your face gears to John Cornish, the star RB in the CFL. jebus grow up.

Amazing composure by Cornish not just decking him there. Cornish just walks away shaking his head with Tate still in mid temper tantrum.

Drew Tate must lead the league in players on his own club he pisses off.
