List just released:

Good luck to the two of them.

Sadly, no Ryan White.

Wow price is such a big goaler... 6''2 & 217lbs!! Saw him against the Russia during the WHL vs Russia game, except from that stupid goal he let in, I really liked his play. I thought he was really good with his stick and his technic was really good. He's also quick as hell! Only one foward for the habs though

No White pisses me off. His game against Russia definately didn't hurt him while Maxwell was really average despite Timmins saying he was too ahead of the others.....

I guess being an energy guy, with some solid offensive skills is not important while...tons of players out there got called 'cause of their names and not their actual performance.....

White's been playing far better than Maxwell recently really thought he would have atleast made camp, oh well next year both of them will be on there.

Let's be happy for the other two. We could then turn this into a positive post.

I thought White was skating better than I've ever seen him against the Russians, but there's still a big limit on the number of energy-style players you can take on the team, especially if they aren't the greatest skaters like White. Let's face it, there's already a line of Pyatt-O'Marra-Bertram returning, Downie as the top energy guy, and there are plenty of other guys like McArdle, Bass, Marchand, and Helm on that list who could do basically what White could, but skate much better than he does. Personally, it would have *shocked* me to no end if White had been invited. Presumably he'll be in a good position to get invited next year.

I'm surprised Maxwell is there, but his game definitely fits the international style much better, he has the versatility to play an offensive or defensive game, he can kill penalties, and he's a great skater. I still don't think he has much chance of making the team, however. But it's nice to see him get into the camp anyway.

So surprised about Maxwell's invitation... I didn't expect it after seeing him at the ADT challenge. As BG said, I don't think he will make the team, but you never know.

why would Bob Gainey be surprised to see Ben invited or make the team i mean his only problem is strength.

from what i saw at the russia challenge, he seemed unable to hold on to the puck properly, maybe it was because he didnt want to get hit.

O'Marra - Toews - Tavares
Gagner - Esposito - Giroux
Pyatt - Cogliano - Downie
Bertram - Little - Setoguchi

Stewart, Maxwell

Staal - Parent
Bourdon - Letang
Alzner - Russell

Ellerby

Price
Irving
Bernier

Something along those lines. There aren't enough LW and too many RW and C. Maybe switch the lines up a bit, but I think these are the players going. I don't know if it's tough enough though.

I'm always surprised at the number of posts made that don't include Franson as an automatic. Staal-Parent, Bourdon-Letang, and Russell-Franson are all equal locks to me.

I'd be disappointed if Price didn't get the starting job. He's the only 19 year old goalie in camp and is the most experienced. The team should have solid goaltending regardless of who gets the starting assignment.
