Yea you can watch them on your computer, and connect your comp to your TV via an HDMI cable and watch them on your TV if you want.

Thanks for the highlight!

Love this kid, I can't wait for him to be ready for the NHL. I have no doubt he's gonna be the stud #1 we've been waiting for

May be a little early for that. He's played 3 games and didn't look very good in 1 of them. If his offensive numbers take a jump after this season and he works in his movement and stops getting beat to the outside at the junior level I'll start to believe he could be our #1 potentially. That's something that's a huge red flag for me especially with big kids. He's a good skater yes, but he could work on being more explosive and knowing when to use that to his advantage. He's still very raw and these next 2 seasons will be absolutely critical for him. He is very promising though.

What a cannon! Yes he's big and tall, but he also gets the most out of his frame. A way more athletic looking swing than Chara's IMO

Thanks a lot. I guess that was 5 wasted weeks of high-school physics!

I've watched his last two games and i noticed he doesn't really get beat to the outside. In fact teams avoid coming at him at all cost. But I did notice that small shifty players in tight spaces gie him trouble. While he is a great skater he is 6 8 and it shows in tight spaces. at the nhl level im sure he will be able to get more physical with those type of players but in junior he doesn't take the body as much in those situations.

You'll probably be waiting a long time for that.

I don't know, he has the tools and raw ability to do it. He just needs to put it all together. His playoff performance last year was a great display of what he is capable of, just hopefully he continues it. Of course the injury didn't help to start the year.

Morrissey does not project into a #1 defender, he is more like a 2nd pairing guy who can be a PP quarterback. I like Morin more and more, if he can put up 35-40 points this year, I will be ecstatic to have him here next year in Philly.

Brian Leetch and Paul Coffey both say hi.

And Morin does project to be a #1 defender? From all accounts, they reached for him at #11. The guy is a project at best.

Why do you keep saying hi? It does not strengthen your argument. You know what also doesn't strengthen your argument? Naming two of the best offensive defenseman to ever play in the NHL. I will take my chance on Morin becoming a #1 over Morrissey becoming a Paul Coffee type player.

From which accounts did the Flyers reach? I think we clearly saw during Flight Plan that the Flyers scouts were extremely high on Morin, even if he is raw. Lot's of young defenseman are raw though, and the tools are all there for him to become a #1. He has that potential, and I believe he has it more than Morrissey. I wasn't even thrilled with the pick, but his progression from last year playoffs and training camp+the preseason games, he looks like he can be something special. we just have to wait for him to put it all together. Maybe he never does, but if he does, the Flyers will finally have the defenseman we need.

Also Montreal was extremely high on hi as well, they wanted to move up to 21(probably had an idea we were going to take him there) to try to pick him. It wasn't just the Flyers liking the kid.

Morin with a PP goal. The goalie didn't even react. When he loads up and gets it off he can be deadly, but he does have some difficulty setting the shot up and getting it off.

Pretty good game from PHI's Morin. May not have looked like a top 15 pick, but a first round quality game.

He'll eventually learn how to set up his bomb shot and release it. It's something that will take a bit of time. But when it happens it's going to be something else to watch.

As somebody said on twitter last night, that if Morin ends the season at a .5-.7 ppg pace this year, his value will skyrocket.
