Game 6: Preds vs Panthers | Tuesday, October 15, 2013 | 7:00 PM CST

What?

Where?

When?

Questions for the game...

Will we get frosties?
Will Seth Jones continue to play like a BEAST?
Will Stalberg, Bourque, or Klein get on the Score Sheet?
Will our defense zone play and PK improve?
Will Lane Lambert please grow back his beautiful mane?

Discuss Away!!

Time to build the first W streak of the season.

Perd's offense explodes in a big way

Weber, Smith, Wilson all with multi pt games

Don't underestimate the Pants; they put up six on the Pens and can score in a hurry when hot. We need to do what we did against the Isles; control the tempo of the game and be opportunistic.

Perds lose 4-2
Fleischmann, Huberdeau, Versteeg, Barkov
Weber, Stalberg

So do we chant "Jones is better!" when Barkov takes the ice?

*Obligatory 18 of us could score 6 on Fleury destroyed because Fleury didn't play that game*

Any news at all on Josi and when they think he will play again? Can't seem to find anything about it so I'm thinking there is no news...

Not quite what you're looking for, but this was about an hour ago...

Greetings from #preds practice. Still no sign of Josi on ice. Not sure if he has started workouts yet. Will get the details later...

I will be sitting in a suite for the first time tomorrow night. I'll have a good time regardless but we need a win over the cats

NOPE,

Neither is the game at home next week vs Winnipeg and the game at home vs STL. I guess the Blues aren't high enough on their priority list even being a division match-up. Fox probably doesn't want to put it up against the MLB Playoffs.

Fox Sports Tennessee and Fox's national programming have nothing to do with each other.

Besides, if our TV deal covers 78 games, I would rather we get all of those games out of the way early rather than miss a game in March that could decide our playoff fate.

4-3 Preds
Hornqvist, Smith, Weber and Wilson
Barkov twice, Huberdeau

Won't be watching the game though (2am in Switzerland on a weekday)

It just kinda sucks that 4 of the 8 not on TV are within 2 weeks. Especially with one being in the same division. The other 4 are: 2 the week of Thanksgiving (PHX and EDM), and 2 in Jan. (Sharks and Flames. )

They are getting them out of the way early in the season. That way we do not miss games later on in the season that seem more important with a possible playoff spot looming. You can always watch a live stream to catch them at least.

Have fun!

Suites feel a little disconnected from the rest of the arena the first few times you're there. But they are very nice and a super enjoyable experience to watch the game!

Except during a playoff game when it is like being caught inside the drum kit at a Nirvana concert!

I think games now are going to be determining our playoff fate a lot more than the ones in March.

Seriously though, we have 5 home games (maybe 4) between Oct 26th and Thanksgiving night. Unreal. We HAVE to rack up points on this homestand.

Other Options?

Sports bar, NHL Center Ice (which is free until the 19th), or buy a ticket which will be cheaper than any other option aside from radio.

Anyone within 20 minutes of downtown could watch the game if they really wanted to.

Panthers fan coming in piece.
Addressing your viewing problems, FirstRow might be an option. Of course the picture won't be nearly as good and it will be our commentators probably. Hopefully it works.

I thought local teams were blacked out on center ice?

They lift the blackout if there is no local TV coverage. They lifted it for the Islander game and I have to think they'll do it tomorrow as well.

Get used to this one guys. "Not cleared to workout" means he can't even ride a stationary bike. Once the docs give him permission to get on the bike, he'll have finish light bike exercises for a week or so -- without symptoms -- before he'll be cleared to resume skating. With his history of concussions, I'll be surprised to see him back before December. Hope I'm wrong.
