hmmm.... Bryan Berard? we hawk fans arent much for raving about our players, so they rarely become overrated.

I am going to catch a lot of heat from Blues fans for this but Pavol Demitra. It seems to me that with as much skill as he has he could dominate games more like Doug Weight or Pronger. You can put lesser players with them and they make them better?

As an outsider looking in, I have to say Ruutu.

I make my sick when people judge a player overrated just because they are hyped prospect ... It's not because we talk about Ruutu like a next Peca or Komisarek like a next Stevens that he's going 2 have the similar impact in his 1st few years in the NHL .

Who overrates Renberg?

IMO, from the Leafs, I would say Mogilny

I would say Antropov. In all honesty, this guy isn't all much better than Pierre Dagenais from what I've seen of both.

For the Canucks it is 100% Jovo.

Whoever was claiming this guy was a contender for the Norris this year didn't realize you have to play an ENTIRE season at a high level to get consideration.

i would say its trevor linden. he is a shadow of his former self and even guys like cooke are more offensively productive than him and guys like arvedsson are better defensively. i still love the guy tho. but he is overrated nowadays only because of the former self. a few nights ago, he let away a perfect giveaway for marleau who won the game with a min left in a tied game

which was COMPLETELY unlike him, even the "shadow" that he is. Linden is easily underrated league-wide. he brings so much more to the table than scoring (which he still brings around 40 points or so a season of). he's extremely versitile, can play all 3 forward positions, he takes the youngsters under his wing, provides invaluable leadership, is a monster playoff performer, plays in all situation, is a key faceoff man, etc, etc, etc. he's one of those forwards that just does everything.

Bertuzzi is EASILY the most overrated Canuck
