Yikes. Did anyone see the play? What happened? I missed it driving home.

Roenick went to hit Sundin but he hit Desjardins instead.

Sunding and Rico were tied up moving behind the net, and Roenick came back from the point to lay out Sundin. He took out Sundin but hit mostly Rico's arm.

i guess i disagree. its the nature of the game. Everybody is taking runs. That hit was no different than any hit. sundin just moved in time, and even then he was stil hit and stil knocked on his can.

if that hit would of connected, Sundin probably would of left the game. that was a potential Thundering hit.

desjardins arm was out, and on sundin. Thats why he's injured, it couldnt do anything else. You could tell it was a broken arm right when it happened

Yeah, you knew it was broken as soon as you saw a replay and saw how Dejardins was holding it.

Vandermeer will be the call up since Seidenberg broke his leg earlier this week in practice.

Roenick almost smoked sundin with his head down (would abeen a first) but desjardins was hanging off sundin , sundin just moved out of the way and roenick his desjardins right arm which was on sundin. as soon as i saw it i said broken arm or wrist.

If Roenick had connected with Sundin instead of Desjardins he probaly would have gotten a charging penalty. Roenick jumped at him.
