That line up is lacking some Jay Rosehill.

Hopefully they're practicing it now.
The fact they didn't practice power plays at all in the pre-season is ****ing astonishing.

You need to trade someone for Bobby Ryan.

Hey Flyers fans, looking forward to our match-up tomorrow.

OT question: Is there any reason why the Flyers didn't sign Joacim Eriksson? I figured after his championship run and goalie of the year honours in Sweden that the Flyers would sign him and bring him to Philadelphia but it ended up being the Canucks who signed him. Was it just a case of management being fine with Mason and Emery in the NHL and Heeter in the AHL?

Judging by their play, I assume they all just watched "Say Yes to the Dress" marathons while binge eating pork rinds.

Admittedly, this is a rather simplified answer, but the general gist is that Holmgren preferred Niko Hoiven (who was released from his contract after putting up less than stellar numbers in the ECHL) over Sunshine. It was not a move that was well received here.

Jordan Schroeder is returning to the lineup for the Canucks, likely replacing Zac Dalpe as the 4th line center.
And Eddie Lack is our backup goalie, not Joe Cannata.

Good luck tonight!

It matters not. If either backup goalie is in they'll have the game of their life.

Plotting zany hijinks for Flight Plan, practicing risky trick shots with golf clubs, "bonding", trading "Weird things Ilya told me" stories. You know, the usual.

Backup or not, Luongo is posting his regular sub-par October numbers.

Nothing like a game against the hapless Flyers to get him back on track. 35 shots, all from at least 15 feet away and no traffic to deal with.

By the end of the night everyone will be talking about Luongo's best game of the season.

In a barely related to hockey note, I realllyyyyy hope they change the goal song again... both "TNT" and "Light Em Up" are horrible... I know a lot of people didn't like Doop but at least it had some energy to it...

What the hell? I didn't know they changed it to Light Em Up.

They went from bad to worse.

At least Light 'Em Up is a song most people enjoy, a modern song, and makes sense with goal scoring. I'm fine with it.
