Girgensons just took a puck to the head/face. Has a visor on. Tons of blood flowing out on to the ice.

Really hate that all the free streams are so garbage. Every team should have a streamo feed.

Could be worse, AP. Most of the streams were in 240p back in 07/08-08/09. I had to put up with streams where the puck got lost in the pixels.

That's true. At least I've always had Rangers games in HD.

Matt Martin scores... 2-1 Isles. Can't see Buffalo getting out of this mess anytime soon.

Disgusting hit by Lapiere on Dan Boyle. Left his feet and hit him face-first into the boards. Boyle looks like he was hurt badly.

Edit: Replay made it look like he left his feet. Don't think he did, but still no reason to hit him.

Didn't really see him leave his feet in the replay

Definitely a dirty hit, and definitely a horrible outcome.

Tavares having a hissy fit on Foligno.

Star treatment and doesn't get called for a penalty

RE: Minnesota, I'm still wary of whether they'll find success or not...I don't think their team is that good, they haven't even looked that good this year. Not sure why a 2-1 win against arguably the worst team in the NHL sparked this discussion, to be honest.

Staying in the division, I'm a lot higher on the Jets. They have three top line forwards with considerable size and skill (Kane, Wheeler, Ladd), a solid player to compliment those wingers in Bryan Little, an up and coming star in Schiefele, and they're STACKED at D (Byfuglien, Enstrom, Trouba, and Bogosian).

If Pavelec would ever figure it out, and they could get some depth at forward, they'll be nasty.

Because he likes to shove people around, but if actual brawl breaks out, he runs away and lets others do his dirty work

Philthy loses another one. Kesler scored the go-ahead goal with 3 minutes left.

Pet peeve, but the word is either wary or leery. Wary is cautious. Leery is suspicious. Weary just means tired. Unless you're tired of waiting for them, I guess.

Anyway, Minnesota has talent. It's early in the year and they took a good step forward last year. There's a lot to be optimistic with out there.

The Jets, on the other hand, have a mediocre goalie, mediocre defensive capabilities, both on the backend and at forward, and barely a center worthy of playing in the top 6.
