Don't know how you can say any one player cost us the game when only two players showed up in McGinn and Mason.

Before anyone mentions Read, he's playing a good two-way game but looks at his point production. The two-way play is great and it buys him a bit of gratitude but at a certain point he's to blame for our offense as much as anyone else.

Mason should start trying to score on the other goalie, maybe that will work.

Coburn's -3 in a 3-2 game is pretty glaring.

The deflating lucky bounce goals for Van...seconds after we took the lead...pretty much sums up the start to this season.

Team looks better than the initial 3 games under Lavi...however they look very similar to the offense of late last year...where goals just haven't come easily.

There isnt a trade out there that will make this team better.

Let's face it, they are in preseason mode. They have no confidence and they have to make it up as they go along because they were not prepared to go into the season. The week off will be crucial for them...those first few games after will make or break the season.

Hopefully they can have a typical emotional circus of a game against Pitt...one where MAF gives up some softies...but I am not counting on it. If they get a point, I will be happy.

The weird thing with Coburn is that he has more tools to be successful then a lot of players in the NHL yet he's so inconsistent and regressing. He's big, a great fluid skater, has a long reach, etc.

We need a playmaker. I'm ok with a trade at this point give up coots and give up Simmonds.

Coots on the powerplay is also a joke

-i don't like the fact that Simmonds have to move to puck Schenn,Raffl should be doing it.
-Coburn should sit in the pressbox for some games.
-Giroux and Voracek should just start shooting the puck on net and let Mcginn do his job.
-PP gonna need some work, after the pens game they have 1 week they should focus on the PP alot.

Actually, now Buffalo has even scored three goals.

Are we the only that hasn't scored more then two? That's an honest question because I think that might be true.

I've been in favor of dumping him for a while. I really don't see what he brings to the table

1-6..... Damn.

Seriously Im not advocating a trade here but... The team will need to do something if they want to win a game again. "Getting close" doesnt mean ****.

There is no way I would cheer for any other team. Flyers have been my team forever and nothing will change that. They just gotta play with passion. If they played with as much passion as we show as fans, they would not be 1-6. Things will change I feel it, but this team will not make the playoffs. Sucks to say it but we don't have the personnel. Our leaders are not leading. Giroux has 1 point I think? And Timonen has been atrocious. We will all show up and keep cheering the boys on, I think it's time they give us something to cheer for.

There are some guys on the team that are going to be moved soon. There are some defenseman at Adirondak that can play up here. Getting Vinny back will help the offense.
The team is improving on the ice. In two weeks they should be a lot better than the disorganized mess that they are at times right now. It takes time to switch systems when a new coach comes in. It's obvious that some guys don't fit here any more.

If we were to play Buffalo next it'd probably be another boring 1-0 loss like at the end of last season

This team is not very good. I didn't have high expectations going into the season and it seems they were still too high. I'm not really expecting some big turn around.

Thank you. He is so so bad. I love him on the pp when he sets up in front of the net but he cant handle a pass and he cant put one on the tape. Other than that i love his game.
