I'm not annoyed... Because I think he's right. I thought it was the best game the Flyers have played this year. After watching the team last year and the first few games of this year, did anyone really expect a quick turnaround? Or maybe everyone figured it was all Bryz's fault?
I can understand being frustrated after a loss and the way the seasons been so far but some of these comments are just pathetic. I'm as frustrated as anyone here but what I'm not going to do is post garbage that I clearly didn't think through. Take some deep breaths and actually think about it.
Is this a tough loss to take? Absolutely. But it was also, for the 3rd game in row, the best they've played all season. The fact they they're getting better every game is a good sign. If it werent for a flukey bounce and two sh*tty plays by Coburn this could've easily been a 2-0 win.
I don't pay any attention to future draft prospects so I'm curious, if we do end up with a top 2 pick, how good are the top 2 draft propects?
The lists get updated at various points through the upcoming months, but here is one article focusing on some touted players:
Not even two months after the 2013 NHL entry draft, player rankings are already popping up for the 2014 draft class.
Barrie Colts defender Aaron Ekblad topped International Scouting Service’s preliminary ranking. Past the OHL rearguard, Kootenay Ice centre Sam Reinhart, Sweden’s Anton Karlsson and William Nylander, and Calgary Hitmen winger Jake Virtanen closed out the top five in that respective order.
Mckeen’s Hockey preliminary top-30 ranking looks a lot different from ISS’s list. They have Nylander leading the way with Reinhart behind him and Ekblad all the way down at seventh overall. In addition, they have Kingston Frontenacs defenceman Ronald McKeown, who wasn’t in ISS’s top 15, ranked fifth and NTDP forward Ryan MacInnis, who wasn’t ranked by ISS either, pegged sixth overall.
Here is a look at BTN’s preliminary 2014 draft list. This ranking is based on a compilation of Mckeen’s Hockey and International Scouting Service’s draft lists.
