The draft is top heavy with centers i believe.. Ekblad is a promising defenseman though.

Some have compared Ekblad to Jones, but I would say Reinhart is a notch below MacKinnon, RNH, etc.

The draft does not have the elite players that last years draft had at the top. Winning those games at the end of last season accomplished nothing except missing out on what would have been Seth Jones.

It actually did way more harm than good...Mason's carryover has been the only positive. It gave the GM a false sense of security and hence why they gave Lavi an extra chance...

They will rebound eventually. It's just that it gets late early when you're 1-6. It's not fair to the coaching staff or the players to make judgements in the middle of changing the system. The GM though, he's fair game

Maybe kicking the GM out for another might wake up the ****ing players?

Doubt it....this team is mental and even players they bring in eventually become mental cases as well. Bryz of course took the cake Steven's baked...

Giroux 7GP 0g 2a
Voracek 7GP 0g 3a
Simmonds 7GP 0g 1a

Yes, the GM is complete bozo, but I'm sorry these players don't get a free pass because of a coaching change or system adjustments.. They've looked like ass since the start of camp thru tonight, and players need to be sat or moved, starting now, not after Pittsburgh beats them.

remember how we use to post pics of drinks during our wins. We should post pictures of what we are drinking to get through this season so far.

I got some J.T. Brown going on .

I vote against this because I don't drink and I would feel very excluded.

The offensive stats for this team are so amazingly bad all-around.

So, do we panic? I kinda want to panic. Haven't had a good panic in a while.

Well that was disappointing. They have gotten better and better every game since Berube took over, though.

I don't mean to jump on the "trade everyone" bandwagon, but at this point, depending on the return, I would support trading Simmonds. He works his ass off, but besides that he's really been struggling in all areas. If you can package him in a deal to get an upgrade at wing or get a quality defensemen, you should do it.

I thought they looked a hell of a lot better tonight, well except for the whole scoring goals thing.

If not for that crap bounce I think the Flyers would have squeeked out a win.
