Looking at the three players injured we have right now. Cammy, Stajan, and Jones could be our top line.Besides that our team has been really impressive. Guys have been stepping up beyond belief, Hartley is a great fit. Can't wait for tonight!

Going to be a later night than usual. Don't like the 3 hour difference, but it is worth it.

Yea its crazy thinking that at the start of the year if you had told me we would lose Stajan, Cammy, and Jones and still find a way to start 3-0-2 I would have laughed out loud. With that said it is Anaheim and we couldn't beat them with Crosby and prime Iginla on this team.

To be fair, Lydman was there last year. But Marchant is IMO the most hilarious inclusion.

Who knows? Maybe they were the problem? Different faces this time around, I am more optimistic than usual, when it comes to the Ducks.

History means nothing at this point. New coach, new philosophy, new roster. We absolutely had the Avs number the past few seasons, that hardly means we're going to steamroll them this year. Similarly, I think we have a chance against Anaheim, but it's going to be the hardest game yet, by far.

The funny thing is that there are still two teams better than the Ducks in the Division(SJ and LA)

No kidding.

I would be ecstatic if we went 2-2-1 on this trip! Hoping for the best, though.
I'm thinking the Flames work some magic in OT... 4-3 W!

Maybe if Blair Jones was dressing, but I don't think he is.

All in on the flames again. It's been a boring few days, i've resorted to watching Oiler games.

On paper yes, but LA has been awful at times so far, Quick in particular. Anaheim is an improved team this year IMO, they actually might have defensive depth this time around. Their D rookies seem to have stepped up to the plate. I also think Silfverberg may break out in Anaheim. He's a talented scorer with fair size and tons of character.

Hi guys, quick fantasy hockey question:

What are the chances of Monahan sticking in Calgary for the year? I hear his play on your upcoming California road trip will be the deciding factor but I thought I would get some insight on how you guys feel about it. Also, how's Baertschi looking so far? I basically need to choose one of those guys so any input would be greatly appreciated.

Good luck tonight!!

4-3 OT victory

Monahan and Baertschi with 2 pts each
Wideman with the game winner.

Apparently this part of their website has cobwebs. They have Todd Marchant in the lineup! Is that guy still alive?
I got halfway through and realized something was... off.

I would hope Flames fans would wait one more game if that was true. Reality might set in pretty quick.
However if we beat Jose then look out NHL!!! The flames may be the team to beat and a Stanley Cup favorite. Monahan could be the NHL's scoring champion and rookie of the year. McDonald the Vezina yahooooooo!!! :sarc asm:: sarcasm:

If you tried finding an Oilers/Caps game last night, you probably didn't get to see much hockey.

At the same time, though, a rough loss to San Jose wouldn't really be much of an indictment. San Jose just steamrolled a very good Blues team in St. Louis.

Some might. I will be PUMPED we finally beat Anaheim at home. But it's going to be a big road trip. If was came out of it without a regulation loss, we have a right to be a little cocky.
