You sure it wasn't Bouillon? There was one moment when he turned the puck over in our zone. Don't recall the Rivet one.

Except a few minutes ago, when he failed to pass outside of our zone with no one remotely close to him.

On CKAC, yes! MacGuire is trying to put some "emotion"...and Dubé is the best as usual...but it really sounds like a boring game!

Only negative so far has been the 3 penalties taken (it's why we got outshot). And kudos to Bonkers, that bonk-o-meter will be exploding if he keeps this up cause he's got six already, which is what he had all last season. Bah, maybe he's trying so he doesn't get a pay cut (which he surely deserved after last year's meagre total). Still, nice to have him being som much more key this season.

Well, considering the 3 penalties and the 1 min 5-on-3 for the Devils, it was a pretty good period. Abby did the job, nice work by the 3rd line on the goal. And the Bonkometer goes up!

One of the most boring periods of hockey I've seen in a long time

Must have been 15 turnovers on each side. Habs had no flow, no physicality, no creativity. Although Kovalev looks more motivated, I guess Carbo talking about him might have sparked him a bit.

Overall though, not much happening.

He was also playing injured for a large part of last season.

Maybe it is time for Carbo to finally realize that the 2nd line is just not going to work and try Kovalev or Samsonov with Koivu to get them going.Almost 30 games in and there is no chemistry between Kovy and Samsonov whatsoever.Time to break the 2nd line up IMO.
