I disagree - it was perfectly acceptable to try. The 'egg' line was pressing, and going up 4-1 at that point would have sealed the deal.
As it is, we're still up - more work to do.
The first time was understandable, like at 3-1 it's not that big of a deal and Eller was covering his position but the 2nd time was unnecessary especially with a minute left. You can't get burned twice like that in the span of 5 minutes. It didn't help that he was kind of being a puck hog on that last pinch too.
