No Nikolishin?

I think Tyler Sandhu will be a big riser this year. Linden Penner might also get a good look, he was invited to the Calgary Flames prospect camp this summer and apparently impressed.

Added existing links for above players to a new 'not yet rated' subsection. I agree on Sandhu's potential to rise by the way. He'll should have hulking EDM draftee Jujhar Khaira as a winger this coming season.

Also added new thread URL for Maxim Lazarev.

It feels like I'm being biased towards a player I still won't see play for another month, but everything I've heard about Nikolaj Ehlers seems to indicate that, at least at this early point, he's someone with the skill to be a potential first round pick.

Totally agree on Sandhu's potential to rise , 19 goals as a 16 yr old on a weak team, Khaira will definitely help . Other risers Reid Duke , Hurricanes, very explosive offensively. Dyson Mayo , Oil Kings , very solid Dman.

What about Wheat Kings F Jayce Hawryluk and Storm F Robby Fabbri?? They were just on the U18 Canada Gold medal winners and also had good rookie seasons with their teams. I think they've both been discussed quite a bit on here.

very soon you will put Ehlers in your top 20 list. after one week in Moose camp he's already the best player on the team.

I would have Brendan Perlini in the top 50 at least and probably 30. He is in a much better situation with Niagara compared to Barrie

Only thing I'd point out is that there are only 29 first round draft picks this year since New Jersey lost theirs

What's the difference between the players in the A-C rated categories and the ones that are in cat categories based on position? Are the ones who are in position categories still players you would pick to get drafted?

Yes, A-C is just the ranks from Central Scouting on who they think that will be drafted into the NHL. But there are plenty of excellent players not ranked.

Nice to see a list that goes beyond round 2. Solid guys like cramarossa and cornel in there.

Devils Pick

Can't wait to see NJ win the lottery and miss out on an elite prospect because of Kovi

Any idea of where Eric Cornel may go? I'm always interested by the highly drafted CHL players that fall when it comes to the NHL draft.

IMO Dylan Larkin and Alex Tuch could go higher. Schmalz is to high. Have seen all three play within the last month and have been more impressed by Larkin and Tuch in the higher level games.

Robby Fabbri has been playing pretty good hockey as well as putting up good stats. I can see him rising up the boards throughout the season.

I've mentioned it in the draft tools thread on here as well, but here's the reference thread I've aggregated for the Buffalo forum. The OP has mostly Buffalo-centric material, but does have useful quick links to rankings, guides, and content. The second post is full of updated tables linking to content on the Top 60 prospects from TSN's final rankings, while the third post has those who fell off that list or are not ranked by TSN.

That's a terrific draft week resource...beautifully laid out. Feel free to paste it into the OP of this thread.
