Good shift from the 4th line to get some momentum back.

That's about what you should expect from Kovalev. 60-65+ is about what he'll get you.
And his salary, meh. He was UFA, so it's expected he would get a little more than "real" value. Although I do agree that when you consider guys like Karyia were signed for 4.5 for 80+ points or Selanne for 3.75 and 90 points, Kovalev's contract doesn't stack up all that well.
He gets paid like he's in the same class as those guys, but he's never really been there (production wise.) I guess there's always been this desire on the part of GM's that his numbers will start matching his talent and so he gets contracts based on what he
could do, not what he's actually done.

Why, Why, Why????????????????????
Why can't we ever put a team away!
Take a 2 goal lead and lose it!
Striet actually looks good on the 4th line!!!

I know Koivu likes to pass but he's gotta shoot in that position.

Habs are now outshooting NYI 23-14. This may end up being a game where we outshoot the opposition
Wow. when's the last time that happened? And, what's our record when we do? Not trying to jinx them

When he does score, Sammy isn't a blast it away kind of guy, he's a finesse shooter, using quick hands and an accurate shot to put it in.

One could argue the 2000-01 season that gave him his reputation of being one of the most talented players in the league.

I'd personally say that one would be wrong. Doesn't take much to see how much skill he has.

The Bonk line as been getting some great chances again tonight. They are by far the most consistent Habs line this year.Perezhogin is really impressing me and is @ +14 for the year.Bonk and Johnson are +10 each. This was going into the game tonight.

In the little of the NJ game I got to see yesterday, he was turning the puck over like crazy.
