Grapes thinks it was a dirty play......sure looks like it on the replay he showed as well...plant the leg and drive it into the side of Halls leg/knee...

Rob Bagg of the Roughriders was running stairs at Mosaic two days after spraining his recently repaired knee. Two weeks later he was back in the line-up. Bagg's knee injury looked worse than Hall's too, though that may have been because of Bagg's sensitivity to knee pain.

If it's just a sprain, give it a couple of weeks. A bruise? Give it a week. Any tear? 6-8 weeks.

Worse knee injuries have looked harmless, while harmless knee injuries have looked worse.

Too early to freak out and make guaranteed assumptions.

The announcers of that game were worse than the guys here on the board for jumping to conclusions on that one. They were basically writing off Bagg's career while he was on the ground.

Looked pretty bad to me. I'm no doctor, but my initial thoughts are that he'll never play in the NHL ever again.

Time to do the only thing that makes sense and trade Yakupov for Riemer.

Fire Renney.

Hall is a pretty tough kid who has quickly bounced back after some nasty hits when you figured he was really hurt, sometimes the next shift. When his initial reaction today was to wince and swing his stick like that makes me think it's something serious. That look on his face wasn't too encouraging.

I'm guessing the issue is in his ubulus muscle or upper dorsimus.

Not sure which though. They of course are connected.

Strange to see him take the hit and be in pain, then come out seemingly OK until he tried to load the joint taking the shot. Doesn't strike me as some *severe* MCL/ACL issue imo.

I know it looks like a sports injury but my professional opinion is lystyriosis, too much melon rind.

Taylor Hall has flown back to Edmonton for further medical examination. Per Oilers, Principe, and Ireland.

Haha I read the first half of this line and my brain autocompleted it this way before I could read the rest.

Time to do the only thing that makes sense and shoot Hall for humane purposes.
