I changed my mind about asking here - I will reply to Soli below though. I don't feel very professional *****ing about this on a public forum.

You're the commissioner, do whatever you want. What are they going to do, drop out? They already paid the entry free (I hope you collected)!

We drafted 9 skaters - 1 point per goal, 1 pt per assist.

In the past, if I had Sam Gagner and he had 50 points for me, and I traded him for Ovechkin and his 70 points. My point total would get that instant 20 point boost.

This year, I want it to be so that I keep Gagner's 50 points, and gain whatever Ovechkin scores while on my team.

As the admin - this is actually less work for me.

Why does baseball play playoffs during the day? Elimination games nonetheless.

What's best is I could understand the Monday night football competition, yet the Braves are playing tonight while the Falcons are playing the Monday Nighter.

Has anyone been to that new State & Main place in Southgate? Was thinking of going there with a few friends or drinks and maybe food. I heard from one (unreliable) source it's not very good...

Most of their food is the same (at least on paper) as Original Joe's. OJ's food tends to be pretty good IMO. Haven't been to State & Main but I figure that OJ's is a decent comparison.

its alright, haven't tried the food, atmosphere is okay, I was there on a Friday night to start things off, was about 3 weeks after it opened... expected it to be more busy, I bet there's still a lot of people in the southwest who don't even know it actually exists... Anyways it is decent, pretty much your run of the mill nouveau riche type of establishment. My buddy said his food was good, OJ's is a decent comparison although I think it's a bit more upscale perhaps.

I've been meaning to for a while! Buddy of mine works there so I promised him I'd check it out. Maybe for an Oiler game sometime.

I might have to move to Fort St John for my career. It seems to have similar weather to Edmonton. I was just wondering how bad are the winters in Edmonton?

If any of you have been to Fort St John what's it like?

Depends on the person. Personally I prefer to be cold than hot so it doesn't bother me that much. I've gotten to the point where I've spent money and have the proper clothes for anything mother nature will throw at me in Edmonton. It's also worth mentioning that will it does get damn cold, we do have quite a few stretches of decent weather where snow melts.

Quick question for all the tier 1 fans... Planning to attend my first Oilers game at rexall (I'm a lowly tier 7 fan who only gets to see them live when they come to Calgary), just wondering how bad are the seats in the "Gallery" sections? Can get tickets for there ranging from $50-70, or would it be a worthwhile upgrade to spend $120'ish or maybe even a little more to move down to the colonnade section? Either way I'd be sticking as close to center ice as possible.

I haven't sat in the gallery for a long time, but I have another suggestion for you if you don't want to spend a ton of money - standing room seats. Gets ones with a belly bar, and they are tons of fun. At least IMO. Same price *I think* as gallery. Or at least they used to be.

Lest I remind that this is a charge with no substantiation whatsoever, no agreed statement of facts of any kind, is pure hearsay, and Laraque or anybody else probably doesn't deserve his name to be smeared publicly for something entirely unproven.

Why the thread?

I really wonder.

Criminal charges are public information , does not matter if proven substantiated or not.

It was a garbage thread about unsubstantiated hearsay. Certainly not required here as a thread. It is now not a thread.

I will agree with that part I was just explaining the law about charges.

I've never found the appeal of UFC to be honest. Cool, 2 buffons on Roids beating the **** out of each other in a cage like animals. Congrats.

It's kind of like watching baseball. If you don't understand the small intricacies, you won't like it.
