Always knew he would be a great pick at 10. He has Lidström-like smarts (beating dead horse)

Brodin... leading the league in d-men goals scored, leading the Wild in points. He really should replace Suter on the top PP unit now, he's been that good!

Brodin wouldn't replace him if he went there as he's a lefty. Suter would go to Brodin's spot on the 2nd unit.

He's the one bright spot on this team right now.

Harding and Granlund are pretty bright as well though. Granlund is the best center on the Wild roster now and should replace Koivu on the top line!

NHL icon Scotty Bowman already sold on Wild’s Brodin

Quote:
Thursday night in Tampa though, Scotty Bowman, one person who knows Lidstrom better than most, used Brodin and Lidstrom in the same breath multiple times. Bowman, the Hockey Hall of Famer who won an NHL-record 1,244 regular-season games, 223 playoff games and nine Stanley Cups, coached Lidstrom for nine of his 20 years in Detroit.

Minnesota has either been the #1 or #2 possession. Now, there a few caveats to that but I think even considering those they have been a very strong team so far.

Only if they could put the puck in the net.

Has not yet returned from the puck to the face. Hoping it's nothing serious as it wasn't a shot, hoping he'll just get some stitches and be back next game or something.

Uhhh no. I could look good next to Sutur. what Huberdeau accomplished was all him. Huberdeau doesn't get a tonne of credit around here

One could argue Brodin made Suter a Norris candidate, since these things go both ways.
