I seem to recall the oilers visiting an Indian before a few years ago. I'm sure if it. When they were piling up injuries.

The way I see it is he aggravated the knee on the hit than when he came back out of the box he injured it worse.

I am nervous and don't see this ending well..

Have we found out when his MRI is scheduled for? Or when we will hear an update?

So Hall is out for X amount of time and Eberle/Smyth looks like they have some issues (not practising).

Who gets called up?

Eager/Omark/Pitlick?

No update from Coach Eakins on Taylor Hall (left knee). MRI will be done in Edmonton either later today or tomorrow.

its not possible that Hall is injured, after all - isn't that why the Oilers picked up enforcers like Gazdic and MacIntyre - to protect them from getting hit and injured?

hm....

Brown deserves billing in this post. lol at seeing him get rag dolled out there in his enforcer role. jebus, its bad when you need enforcers to protect the enforcer. Brown is hopeless. Can't win a fight, can't win a puck battle, can't win an after whistle scrum.

Why is he here?

Gazdik certainly looking underwhelming in recent games as well. Not sure if complacency bug has hit already.

Good thing the team is tough and has protection from harm now.. Sens were running us into the boards all day and not even a response.

They received something as a good luck charm before the cup final in 2006 against Carolina. Considering how that final went, and the state of the franchise in general since then, I'd say it hasn't brought much good luck

Yeah Stauffer has no better information than anybody else in this thread. Although I do agree with his guess, in it looks like an MCL injury of some sort. It's the severity information we all waiting for.

To be honest though, I'll treat Hall's injury update the same as I do all other injury information I hear from the Oilers: assume they are lying, and only believe the player is actually healthy when you see them back on the ice.

lol, I was about to say that. Plus that Stauffer is a team rep that will say anything asked.

I get more cutting commentary and critical analysis from Gene Principe.

We'll wait along time and when we get the information "lower body injury" we won't know what to think.

He's more privy to an initial diagnosis then we are, traveling with the team and all.

I expect it to be worse, like, 2-3 month kinda dealie.

If this is true, that charm must be destroyed as it's been a curse of the worst possible kind.

I think they made a mistake, Katz likely isn't the right owner to use for the Major League motivational method.

Nobody claimed that having an enforcer would stop all injuries. Simply that there would be less cheap shots if Eakins sends the enforcers out after the guy that did it. Eakins didn't send Gazdic after Gryba...
