AV has confidence in Cam Talbot "whether he plays Thursday or after that." Notes NYR have 8 games in 15 days

AV would not describe issue with Lundqvist; "something nagging...and want to nip it in the bud."

Let's see what Talbot can do.

Let's have fun. Play all kinds of kids. Bring up everyone.

It's crazy to think about, but that is actually 8.5% of the way through the season. It seems insignificant but if they lose a couple more, we are talking ~12% of the way through the season. That's a decent chunk.

just because you tank or draft in the top 5, it does not mean you will be a good team.. look at the Panthers. knowing the Rangers luck, if the Rangers did draft top 5 for the next 3 years, they would be like the Florida Panthers

Just drafting or just signing high priced UFA's does not work. Doing both, will increase your chances.

Giroux is probably liking his chops right now, no better way to get back on track than against this team with talbot in net.

3 of your top 6 forwards are out. Your starting goaltender who has carried the franchise over the past 8 years is possibly out. Tank may be a bit premature but having cause for extreme concern is not.

Hopefully this isn't going to become an issue.

Otherwise, it is time to panic. Can't say I am surprised at this point. More of that good old Ranger luck.

At least our amazing defense will hold the fort. They've been amazing this seas......ehh they've sucked.

So IF Lundqvist is out for even a couple of games, we don't have our goalies from last year, our superstar player, our speed demon, or the heart and soul of the team.

Well, we wanted youth. Here it comes. Sort of.

Right after playing like 3 games in 2 weeks.

I get the road trip because of MSG thing. But the pathetic bi-polar schedule we have gotten is ridiculous and laughable. It seems like they're always the lab rats in these scenarios.

The real victim in all of this?

The Kings and Caps...

They actually lost to us.

Doesn't seem possible really.
