Spurgeon with better awareness down low than Bourque results in the Wild scoring an empty net goal rather than a tied game. No offensive zone presence all night ... no legs ... no jump ... no winning battles along the boards ... the only bright spot was Pekka, the shooting gallery target.

Egg laid, onto the next game.

Rinne was the only player that came to play. It was the 3rd game in 4 days on the road and it showed. Would have liked a lot better effort. We did come up with 4 pts on this trip though. Back home for a few games and then a few days off before the mammoth road trip.

Is part of our problem that we have so many guys playing on the wrong-hand side of the ice?

The problem is that we are trying to squeeze goals out of an entire team full of third liners

He wasn't able to make Hendricks look like a real hockey player and people noticed.

Not much more to say.

I like how Forsberg gets scratched after a couple of bad games, yet Hendricks with 10 bad games and nothing.

All and all a the guys just looked tired.

the forsberg scratch looks bad as clune brings nothing we don't already have in redundant grit. forsberg is a threat on the PP and odd man situations.

Only watched 3rd period due to a function...impressions

1) How do we let f&*$ing Matt "the goon" Cooke put on a g&$ d*&$ skating clinic on us?!?!? SERIOUSLY

2) I think Harding has our number, not that we really want to challenge him or anything

3) 9 million offensive turnovers are bad m'kay

We looked tired. Rinne pulled some miracles. Jones looked sloppier than normal. I could go on but I'd need to pop some valium or something.

and hendricks is the new yip / fiddler .. get use to it boys. dare i say fiddler and yip were more effective. and just think we have him for 4 years at almost 2 million per.

stalberg looks like he just skates fast for fun. zero finish. 4 years, 3 mil per.

nystrom looks like he is excelling here. cullen's line has been our most productive. craig smith has been our best forward. dude looks good out there.

I dont know whats more frustrating... the fact that we played like complete feces the whole game, or that we came within less than half a puck width of salvaging at least a point...

these are the games I'd rather have lost 4-0 and just written it off as being tired at the end of a roadie.... now if April comes and we end up one point behind these guys..

at least Pekkas stats didnt take a beating

The Forsberg scratch looks bad if you assume he would have changed tonight's outcome. I'm doubting it. I actually think he needs to spend some time in the A. Don't think he's physically ready to be a consistent impact player at this level.

Send him down to hone his game and get big minutes every night and give Beck a shot.

i don't think he would have but who knows. but when we had what 7 shots through 35 minutes? not hard to see why their forecheck overwhelmed us with our grinder filled line up. forsberg would have been a nice infusion of skill.

im in favor of swapping beck and forsberg.

We weren't in the offensive zone long enough to turn it over 9 times, much less 9 million.
