I don't think there is a single chance that Nashville would go defense next year in the first round. They have Weber-Jones-Josi all for at least 7 years. Klein for 5 and Elkholm under control for 5 more years. If there is ever a team that needs to draft for need it is Nashville as the defense is stacked for the foreseeable future. I'd imagine they would go after Reinhart or another potential #1C.

Predators general manager David Poile said Rinne had been diagnosed with a spontaneous bacterial infection in his hip, the same one he had arthroscopic surgery on in May.

Talk about freak injury.

Good thing I picked up Hutton a few days ago. Or maybe not. Whatever. It's a deep league and he was my best option when he was a back-up, so now I've bored you all with my fantasy team.

I hate it when people do that.

No way will they beat out BUffalo, that team is playing worse than ****. They'll miss Pekka but there's no way they'll be in the bottom 5.

I hate when GCL is laggy.

I haven't really watched Buffalo much this season but their fans seem to be really down on Grigorenko, even starting to use the b-word. Perhaps there was a reason he dropped as much as he did? I remember some scouts had problems with his compete level in his draft year.

There might be a reason he's only getting 10 mins/gm but that can't be helping his development. They should just send him back to junior if they don't think he's ready.

That would require them to make the right move and they haven't done that since the Pugula era started.

I want both Flyers and Rangers to keep losing. Not because I particularly dislike the teams. There are lots of players there I enjoy watching.

I just want to see Sather and Homer do something crazy. They're not men that will go quietly into the night.

I thought Bournival looked pretty good the other night and he has a goal and an assist tonight. Good for him.

Like trade Mcdonaugh for a pending UFA and prospects/Picks?

For Lundqvist sake I hope they turn it around. Otherwise he walks and might end up on a team I dislike. Although, I could see him in Pittsburgh.

Wardo leaves the game... guess he won't be starting against the avs tomorrow.

Dorsett is a friggen idiot.

Pouliot get a 5 min major and game misconduct for "boarding" Talbot. Hope Talbot is okay but the hit doesn't warrant that.

Sharks outshooting Bruins 33-10 in Boston. They're like a machine.

I wonder what's wrong with Giroux. He looks completely out of sorts. No confidence and no creativity. If he wants to make Team Canada, he has to turn it around quickly.

He did have a similar start last season and managed to improve after a month or so.

That breaks down every April.

Mason doesn't look like the sieve he was in Cbus. No matter the Flyers media will destroy his moral in no time.

LMAO Henrique just undressed Luongo in the shootout but couldn't finish. Still funny to see.

He's probably not 100% after pulling an EJ during the offseason.

If you take Duchene and make him worse at everything, you end up with Grabovski.
