I like Chief's comment...
That made me go:

That's stupefying. Have Lavi and Bryz really destroyed the team that badly? It's like the two of them spent every practice lining the team up against a wall naked and blasting them with a firehose, how can they be that broken?

This team composes themselves like a bunch beaten puppies. Why the hell is a guy with 5+ seasons of NHL experience looking to a rookie with less than 25 games under his belt for motivation? Sorry to all the women on this site, but this team needs to find their balls again.

He lost 8 of his last 20 according to Hockey fights...

An according to Drop your gloves he was 32-35-29 since the lockout.

He fought a lot, but he was pretty average for a heavyweight, I mean, when he was younger I thought he was a pretty decent one, especially as he could play on the 4th and not be too big a liability... but in the last 5 years of his career he was pretty much a skating liability and a very average fighter.

Same here. Starting to play like he was pre-injury.

I probably would've kept McGinn up over Raffl but, you know someone else will get injured and McGinn should be back again.

Only problem now is, who's going to inspire Voracek if McGinn's not there?

McGinn was leading scorer due to luck. That 42% shooting was only going to plummet.

You could certainly argue that shooting % would drop.

Nobody scores on 50% of their shots.

Hard to argue it was because of luck.

Kid looked good last year and has produced this year unlike the guy they are replacing him with.

I've never been that impressed with McGinn. Not to say he isn't a good player, he's been pretty valuable when playing for the Flyers, but he's not this top six forward the boards seem to be making him out to be.

Raffl is better, much better

So he can play 4 mins a game?

Do you see how this works?

2 Top 6 forwards get injured, Raffl & McGinn are called up, play those lines, 2 Top 6 forwards get healthy, McGinn is sent back down.

CLEARLY, the team thinks of these guys as Top 6 forwards
