We didn't learn from the first game about putting the Blues on the PP?

Can't leave Steen open like that. Have to stay out of the box against the Blues.

Great. Preds gave up a PP goal just like that to Steen. We just let their guy totally stand in front of Hutton and screen him.

Lots of Blues fans in attendance tonight.

Bad penalty, bad PK, bad place to be against the Blues.

God the blues pbp announcers are awful homers. Preds might as well not be on the ice for as little acknowledgement as they get. Forgot how hard it was to hear their broadcast. Give me strength.

Hendricks wants to fight. I was hoping Jackman would knock him out.

Weber hits the crossbar. So close to going in.

Hutton is having a good night so far as the Blues are spending most of the period in our zone.

Shots 13 to 6 for the Blues.

Preds 0-1 on the PP.

Pressure is and toughness is all we have ever been about. It all means nothing if you can't finish

Nobody bothered to play D as the Blues came across the line with about 3:05 left in the first. Everyone just kept skating back as Steen carried the puck ... NOBODY played him nor the puck.

Bourque / Cullen / Smith are once again the best line by a country mile. Come on guys; net one. I'm afraid this is going to be one of those games where Halak is just unbeatable.

Preds did have some good chances and Halak made some good saves. Weber hit the crossbar. PK gave up its first goal in a long time. Steen is just too good to leave him out there alone with a screen. Cullen line continues to look good. Have to stay out of the box against the Blues.

A stupid, well behind the play penalty gave them the PP that resulted in the lead. We're giving up too many shots. We're not owning the dot. Still, the boys are in this game and generated several good chances. It's not over yet.

The penalty was not behind the play. Wilson reached across the body to get the puck and his stick got in the feet. It's a penalty , but not behind the play.
Preds are looking good, just need some Finnish

Perds 0
Blues 2

Was that their first shot on goal this period? They just shot it and bounced it off multiple legs and sticks until in pin balled in.
