Detroit - St. Louis

Polak + 5th

Quincey + Miller/Eaves

From a Wings point of view I think Polak would be a good shut down guy to pair with Kindl/Smith.

Quincey has been playing much better this year and I think the Smith Quincey pair needs to be broken up for good.

Any chance you could elaborate. What part has you so against it. I'm being sincere I would really like to know.

Why would we want Quincey and Miller/Eaves. This trade does nothing for the Blues. Why are they going to trade Polak for crap they don't need? Just to help Detroit out?

That's the elaboration that every Blues fan will give.

Possibly the part where we trade the better defensemen, take on over 2 million in salary, give up a pick, and get a bottom 6 forward when this team's healthy scratches have been Paajarvi and Morrow so far (not during the Lapierre suspension). Where would Miller or Eaves even play?

But yeah, other than that, this proposal does a lot for the Blues

Uh, I don't think the Blues and Wings will be trade partners anytime soon.

Why would the Blues do this?
