Wow, had no idea the seats were in 110... Sweet! He's very lucky to get season tickets for free. (Make a wish)

Why do you need to go to the bank ?

My debit card has almost snapped in half, and it only works in newer debit machines. I haven't had a chance to go until today between work and school, but now my work at the golf course is closed for the year

I'm not sure why your work at the golf course being closed for the year is in play here. Why can't you just use your ATM card ?

I don't understand your golf course comment.

And I think ATM cards in the states are debit cards.

You look mid twenties. Maybe slightly older than your age.

Yeah, I agree. Banks aren't as convenient as they could be, although I'm sure that back in the day it was even worse, when there were no ATMs or online banking.

I'm with TD, so it isn't awful I suppose... late hours on Thursday and Friday, Saturday it's open all day.

I think he's saying that he doesn't have to worry about bank hours as much now that he doesn't have that job eating up time.

We have debit cards and we have ATM cards. I guess I can see your predicament but you should be able to use your ATM card to withdraw money from the ATM. How did your card get bent while residing in your wallet ?

Well I am still going to school Monday to Friday (and it is on the other side of the city so I don't have time before or after unless a class is canceled)

The card still works in most debit machines, and I only have it not a debit and an ATM (I can use it in ATMs though) I just want to get it replaced because if it gets worse it might not work. I think it started to crack just because it is like 4 years old

Can't you just withdraw money from the ATM (that will accept the dent) using that card ? I'm just trying to see why the bank being open is necessary.

I don't need cash now, but I will need a new debit card eventually. Today was just the first afternoon I had off since August and I wasn't able to go

The bank may already be in the process of mailing you a new card if it's been four years since you were last issued one.

Be late to class, or miss one if you must, and make up the time ? I know giving up 2 hours of tuition money is not fun but if you need a card you need a card. Banks should not have to rearrange their schedule just because you didn't take care of your card. Also banks are typically open on Saturday, even though no business-day transactions post.
