Gallagher plus a little plus, and I know MON fans would say no.

No need for a new thread but to answer your question, my offer would be Desharnais, Beaulieu and 2014 1st.

Think Florida is probably looking for quality over quantity at this point. They'd probably want someone like Galchenyuk.

Not really good trading partners. If Florida trades Kulikov it creates an obvious hole on the backend ; a hole not immediately filled from within the system. Florida lacks high end D prospects in the AHL/Europe/Minor hockey.

The D prospects Montreal have don't remotely come close to replacing Kulikov. Kulikov isn't perfect, but Tinordi, Beaulieu, Thrower etc are not only have less obvious upside, but aren't solid established NHL players either. So why are we creating a hole for the sake of it?

If you're trading players it has to make mistake and i don't see how Montreal makes sense, unless the value is exceptional.

I had a feeling people would jump off the handle. I'm just saying that Florida is probably looking for a bonafide potential star player, not more prospects and picks.

Ok, what are they adding? Keeping in mind Mtl has waited nearly 20 years for a true #1C with size.

Kulikov alone wouldn't fetch Galchenyuk who's merely 19 and entering his 2nd year in the league.

I can see a mutual salary dumb like Desharnais for Kopecky (0 pt so far) though.

Average NHL size means good to great size in Montréal.

Yeah, our standards are pretty messed up. Deal with it.

I didn't say massive... I said with size. As in not 5' 7'' and actually over 200lbs.

I don't know, I'm not really making a proposal, just stating what Florida would probably be targeting if they were to make a move. Why would they deal Kulikov for pieces they don't really need?
