Been trying to find a Sherwood T100 in the Smith curve, no luck so far in my city. Too expensive to order from the states.

Checked out the V9 and V9E today, ended up taking the V9E home. I'll try it out tomorrow morning and use it in my game wednesday. Feels lighter than my S19 and RS2. I'm looking forward to trying it out.

I bought a Colin Fraser pro stock RBZ a few months ago and loved it. Infact, loved it so much that when the hockey shop in Phoenix got more LA kings gear, I had to go get another.

Currently playing a Mako 1. Different feel than the Nexus 1000 I had prior (RIP) but now that I'm used to it I love it.

I'm waiting for the APX 1 to drop in price because I really want one. I dunno, can't really be bothered to drop $300 on a stick so I've taken to bargain hunting. Really anything good quality and below $150 with the right curve/flex I'll buy. Unfortunately that's a hard combination to find.

Just look at some older models for that good deal. I got the CCM Crazylight with the CrazyOvi curve with the flex I wanted for $110, it was a $250+ stick a couple years ago, but it is still a great stick and nice and cheap.

I've been searching for 10 years to find a stick that gives me the pop and accuracy on my wristshot that my old Easton Aluminum did. If any of the older guys here who used that stick have found anything that feels similar I'd love to know.

It is, but the sale has been going to for a while now so supplies are limited. I picked up one from Hockey Monkey about a week ago for $160.

Decided to buy some cheap equipment while back home on holidays for a few weeks so I can go to stick and puck and play drop in. Bought a $40 reebok datsyuk which is the best curve ive used

Normally use a Sakic and just got 3 Sakics that I orders from hockey monkey.

Now it looks like I might be trying to hunt down some Datyuk curves. Sucks living in the middle east and not having the option to buy cheap ass stick and be able to try them out at stick and puck.

Ordering online is an expensive endeavor. Lol

I just got 2 of these (85 flex) on Tuesday. I've only used it twice so far, but I'm very impressed. Light, great balance and feel. Pretty hard to believe its a price point stick! The Smith is extremely close to the Warrior Gionta BTW.

Its not a price point stick. Neither is the T90.

I realize it's a top tier from Sherwood, but what I meant by price-point was its not on par dollar-wise with other top models from other companies out there.

Performance wise it out plays many top models from other companies, but at 2/3 the cost.

Yeah its a toe curve. Been wanting to try one of those out + I've heard AMAZING things about the T100.

I have the T100 in a Stastny curve. Great stick. The blade is awesome. You can tell they took a lot of "inspiration" from TPS when they were bought out.

Just got my hands on a V9 twig for $100 through working in the industry. This is the best stick I have shot with this year (I have had CCM Stage 2, Reebok Ribcore, Vapor APX2). If you have a chance and have not tried the E36 curve it is definitely worth a go.

The new Sher-Wood EK15 Rekker is also a beauty twig (lightest on the market) and has a good balance to it.

Brought two sticks to the last game:

TPS Intermediate R2 tapered shaft with Warrior Vanek blade
Montreal M60 P88 65 flex

The TPS/Vanek worked somewhat well in warmups as I was going bar down and picking corners, but then it felt WAY too whippy shooting on the goalie. Switched to the M60 and it was stiffer with more pop in it and the curve worked much better. Stuck with it throughout the game although I lost a couple good passes because the blade was so lively.

Used the V9E in my last game and at the stick n puck this morning. Shot wise it is very similar to my RSII in feel, but stick handling feels completely different. I haven't had much ice time lately due to being pretty sick the last 3 weeks, so maybe that's why it feels off.

I do notice my snap shots are a lot more lively than the RSII, and overall I'm pretty happy with the stick. I'll give it another week before I do a full review.

How did you like the M60? I think I read that it was a repainted dolomite, sound at all true?

I love the T90 and use it since about 2 years. I just wanted to know if you guys have any other ideas in the same price range that might be a good stick in the 100 stiffness range.

I bought Warrior Diablo Grip 85 flex stick with Burrows blade and I have been in love with it ever since. Best stick I have ever used.
Before that I used different models of CCM U+

I've got a review thread on it.

I'm the one who guessed it was a repainted Dolomite. It certainly kicks like one and the weight matches. The blade sucks, but I'm hoping that when it starts to crack, I can cut/chisel it out and put a new blade in there.
