since the 5-0 collapse, really hasn't mattered who they started...

actually to be fair, except for last season, we do ok against them at home.

Would be great to make it to 7-9. Close the gap a little while Hag and Nash hopefully both heal and get back into a groove. Hell I'd take 6-10. Hopefully this time is going to prove to be crucial for some of the young guys to start asserting themselves more.

It's 6. They sent an email saying they were opening gates early since its the first game after the renovation

Hey, I've been listening to TSN 990 (as I do almost every morning), and they haven't mentioned anything about who's starting tonight in net for the Habs. In either case, we probably won't score more than 2 goals...

Have to miss this one unfortunately. Have a game of my own. Really pissed about it too, because it's the home opener. Otherwise, I wouldn't really have cared especially considering this season thus far.

No idea what's gonna happen tonight but excited to see them play at home finally. Hopefully they carry on some of the good habits and play shown on Saturday and keep skating, getting to pucks, shooting, and moving their feet

A win tonight and we would be 4-6. I figured with the schedule we had we would come out of it 5-5. Given how hopeless everything has seemed it wouldn't be so bad. Just got to win.

Coming off a decisive win, to face Montreal and a backup? Expectations are not high.

Hopefully they can ride the momentum of the home opener.

Just win.

Back up a good road win, with a win at home.

If not, the spiral continues.

20 out of the next 29 games are at home.

Lets hope this team plays well at the new MSG.

Wish I had access to the Elias Sport Bureau computers to confirm my hunch that home openers against Montreal never workout in the Rangers favor.

Does Pyatt have to break both legs and switch teams before AV even considers scratching him ?

It must be a cool feeling for other teams when they learn they are playing the back up.

He is still a borderline scrub. Their depth is hurting as much as ours.

Is Lars Eller that bad? He seems solid.

I absolutely hate when either the Jets or the Rangers play the Habs. It seems like forever since I last saw either team beat them, and considering I loathe the Habs and their fans, that makes it even worse.

Eller has been outstanding so far this year!
That line with him, Gallagher and Galchenyuk is very dangerous and we must watch out for it. Very fast line!
