I would think that the fractured orbital bone will force him to keep the gloves on for the next while. Too bad since he is a decent fighter.

And - Douglas Murray skated wearing a regular red jersey and will play his first regular season game as a Hab. A veteran of 465 regular season games, Murray will be stepping on the ice for the first time wearing the CH crest.

Thanks for the update. Makes sense about Moen...a simple cut wouldn't have kept him out of the lineup. Had to be something more.

Is Wolverine going to heal by Saturday or has he lost his powers?

I've been waiting for the Habs to come back to Denver for two years and half the team is missing. Ugh.

So, we had 6 regulars missing last night, and still won...I know it was the Rangers, who can't score, but we have a ton of injuries, and we won!!

Good stuff!! Just sayin'.....

MaxPac could comeback this weekend according to Renaud Lavoie! Last chance for DD, playing with MaxPac and Bourque?

Yes it is, cause those 2 are the perfect fit for Daniel Briere too.

I'm amused Parros is still leading the team in PIM even if he only played half a game

The only perfect fit for Daniel Briere is gurney. He's done.

The best part about Briere is his $333,000 buyout next summer and eventual retirement. Should have never signed him and or DD.

You can buy out anyone you want at any age. In normal circumstance, you don't get the benefit of the buy out exemptions. But in Briere's case, because he was already bought out by Philly and is still getting payments, his buyout is more complicated. He can be bought out and the buyout is substantially less than in a normal circumstance.

http://capgeek.com/buyout-calculator/?player_id=749

Calculate Buyout: Daniel Briere is 36 years old on the buyout date of June 15, 2014, setting the buyout ratio at 2/3 and the total buyout cost at $666,667 spread over 2 years. His contract was originally valued at $52,000,000 beginning in 2007 and ending in 2015, with $1,000,000 remaining from the buyout year forward. The following is a season-by-season breakdown of the buyout. A negative buyout cap hit indicates a credit.
