I believe he is already practicing again. He should be ready to go.

Bernier was fully practicing as well, which is a great sign.

Nesta is confirmed out, and Rivas is currently in "we might sub him with 20 minutes left" mode.

Otherwise everyone is free.

This is actually the first time we have so many guys available in a couple months. Suspensions plus injuries have been a huge contributing factor in our troubles.

It's one of the reasons I'm a bit confident in us winning thursday.

Here's the lineup in today's practice

Perkins, camara, Lefevre, Ferrari, Brovsky, Mapp, Warner, Bernardello, Pisanu, Di Vaio, Wenger.

I'm expecting Bernier to be fit and take Warner's spot otherwise that's pretty much the lineup I'm expecting to start.

Man... If Rivas was really in Starting shape it would massively improve out lineup...

I hope they are serious about him subbing at least :/

Even if Rivas is 60-70% ready I would play him. His physical ability would be huge, especially when defending set pieces. Also yes he has been injured but he has tons of experience playing around the world (which is a lot more than some of our rookies). In my mind if Rivas is healthy enough to make the trip put him in the starting lineup. Also I am not so keen on Wenger starting. His confidence is not there right now. Put another experienced player in the midfield as opposed to have in running around out there. The Di Vaio / Wenger partnership has not been working. I would rather see Paponi up there if he is healthy.

Play as many players we can that "know how to win" and have experience in knockout games. The rookies will have their time in the future. I really hope Nesta is invited to come with the team and be in the locker room I think his presence around the team on Thursday would be influential and inspirational.

The game is winnable but they need to get back to some of the basics and try and reestablish some sort of attack along the wing and play simple at the back.

Just asked Sofiane on Twitter. He thinks Lefevre is most likely to Start.

I hope not.

So, we'll play a 4-4-2? Arghh...

Our midfield will get eaten alive, again. Only use the 4-4-2 when in need of a goal for god's sake... 4-2-3-1 is our better formation, by far. We were crap using 4-4-2 last year and outside of a sequence of like three games, we were crap using it this year. Marco, you're a dumb **** that doesn't learn...

I'll even go farther and say that because the game is on the road, I'd go with a 4-1-4-1

Perkins
Camara - Rivas/Levèfre - Ferrari - Brovsky
Bernardello
Pisanu - Arnaud - Bernier - Mapp
Di Vaio

Let's not kid ourselves, they will use Arnaud, so the best thing to do is put him in a position to succeed. He sucks as a winger, he sucks as a DM and he sucks as a RB, the only spot in which he hasn't sucked this year is as a CM in a 4-1-4-1. Bernardello is good enough to play by himself in front of the defense and Bernier comes back from an injury so giving him less responsabilities defensively isn't a bad thing. Arnaud can play more box to box and Bernier can be a creator, he is good at it.

Pisanu, with his last two performances, has earned a chance to start. Mapp, Da Vaio and the defense aren't even worth discussing, they are obvious choices.

Defend well and wait for the mistake, then go on the counter attack. They are at home, they have the pressure, let them choke on it and pounce on every mistake they make. Pushing the play with a 4-4-2 is a stupid mistake, we will give up a goal in the first 30 minutes of the game if we do that, book it.

I plan to go, not sure which one yet though.

Anyone else?

Damn...

@NickSabetti:
Di Marzio from Sky Italia, reporting that Toronto have made an offer for Gilardino. 7 million a year, for three years. #MLS #TFC

Let the mafia do it's work he'll sign with Mtl hehe

I'm surprisingly optimistic for this one, I'd play Felipe Bernier Bernardello and Pisanu in the middle but that won't happen!!

Hoping Rivas can start but tbh... I don't think so.

Isn't that way too much money for Giraldino though? I don't think he's worth that much at all...

That's a ******** of money. He would be the 2nd best paid MLSE athlete, behind Kessel.

Edit: Wait, no. Rudy Gay and DeMar DeRozan have crazy salaries.

I like how everyone in here basically agrees on what the lineup should be... yet we are all confident that it won't happen.

I just feel like if we win this game, we can go all the way. This season, we've always had ****** spells, then came out of it strong. If we win vs Houston and hit a hot streak, anything can happen really lol

If anyone wants to buy tickets

1. Go to http://click.tmclient.ticketmaster.c...d413bb82b68d8a
2. Enter following code right above the seating chart where it says code promotionel: AMEMBRESERIES
3. Buy tickets 60% off
4 Hope Impact win Thursday night!

I'm a season ticket holder but decided not to buy/reserve my seats for the playoffs. I got the link and code in an email from the Impact but it should work for everyone since it's a general promo code.

I bought tickets with a few buddies and my sister to be with the Ultras, it would be my first experience with them. What better time than our 1st playoff game!
