What are you talking about dude? Jamie Benn was on the ice for both habs goals.

Okay... and your point is? He was the biggest threat for them whenever he was on the ice. He made Subban look silly in the first and put together some nice passing plays but Montreal was too good defensively.

A string of ugly games. But can't complain about the team commitment to defence.

I have to admit that Diaz is a decent defenseman. I see a lot of hate for this guy but has been solid. Very smart player.

He's a Montreal native and had 56 friends at the game.

When he's on his game Diaz can be fantastic, at both ends of the ice. This was by far his best game of the year. I just hope he keeps up this strong play.

I just can't help but think where this team would be if they hadn't lost to Edmonton and Nashville; both of which should have been wins. The Toronto game also should've been a win. I'll take the 8-5 record considering the injuries we have, but if only...

Agreed. We're still winning games when we have a lot of horses sitting in IR waiting to come back and that's encouraging to see. Patches, Prust, and Moen shouldn't be too long now which would give us 4 solid lines up front. Throw Emelin on the back in a month or so and we should be rolling.

Notice how our two home grown vets are also the most dependable.

I seriously hope not. You don't play your best forward 13 minutes a night. And at this point, you don't play Desharnais any more than that.

But at the same time, Bournival has been lightning in a bottle with Gio and Pleks. As long as they continue producing, you can't split them up. I guess you can crack the EGG line, but I don't see Therrien doing that.

You ride the hot hand.

The Pleks line with Bournival and Gionta are getting it done. It would be foolish to break up that line now (although Therrien is not afraid to break up a top scoring Pleks line like he did last season with Ryder).

Do you break up the EGG line?

Or do you put Bourque and Pacioretty with DD to have three potential scoring lines?

The smart decision would be to add some punch to the DD line. Or hell, after seeing Leblanc play, bench DD and let Leblanc center that line.

I thought he played well. More good than bad. It's just that he's under very heavy scrutiny.

Murray has to be the slowest player in the NHL. It's painful watching him skate.
