I really hope Perron is back next game and he's next to RNH and Eberle.

Put Gagner with Hemsky and Yakupov or whatever.

Also I hate to say it but I think this team is actually missing Ryan Smyth.

Gagner didn't skate at all on the 2 on 1. Coasted from center. Pathetic!

Pardon me?

Im starting to really really miss Krueger..
Well atleast our coach makes a handful of people happy with how the team has played.

None that I've heard. I can't wait until he gets back.

Anytime any player starts playing well they get injured. It's ****ing incredible.

Well, the mystical power of the brown bags helped last year. Time to get mine back on.

There must be an inverse relationship between outshooting your opponent, and winning the game. It's the only explanation that makes any sense...

Not- but why the hell did we win more games last year while getting outplayed more often than this year? This team just has a knack for doing the wrong thing at the wrong time.

Get an odd man rush: miss and give up a goal on an opposition odd-man rush.

Score a big goal to take the lead or tie the game: take endless minor penalties and blow the game.

Get a powerplay in crunch time: can't score or even get a prime scoring opportunity

Get a big save from the goalie: further defensive breakdowns leading to a goal shortly after anyway

And the list goes on.

I agree. Such a curse. Pitlick pots his first and gets injured. Joensuu solid preseason and now has a back injury ( still haven't heard anything about it yet) hall was starting to be back in form and gets injured. Hell even old smythy played better and gets injured. **** sakes.

Thought about it.

Only players I find redeemable on this team are RNH & Petry. I feel nothing towards essentially every other player on the roster.

The only thing worse than watching this team is watching it without Perron. I'm even missing Smyth. What actually is wrong with him?

I've been saying this for a good chunk of this year. Anytime they do something positive they follow it up with something grossly negative.

The Phoenix and first Toronto games are prime examples.

The thing with Kruger is he at least knew his players and their strengths and weaknesses and tried to help them succeed.

Eakins is like a dad throwing his 3 year old in the deep end and then laughing to another dad about how his stupid kid can't swim. He also has this thing about ripping the team pregame but trying to deflect the blame postgame. Can't have it both ways, this team simply sucks and guys aren't being put in the position to succeed.

Eakins sounds like he doesn't even attend the games.

Where's the breaking point?

Surprise! Oilers lose another one. I have zero expectations at this point and I'm sure some of you agree with me on that. We made playoffs 7 times in the last 21 years and last appearance was 8 years ago. With that being said, where do you see the breaking point? Can this fan base survive if the team doesn't make the playoffs for the next 2 years? 3 years? How far does this team have to sink for rexall to be at half capacity?
For me personally, if oilers don't make playoffs next year I'm done.

Yeah when I heard Perron wasn't playing I decided I wasn't going to watch it. I caught a bit of the second period (just in time to see Toronto make it 2-0) and most of the third period when the game was already well out of reach.

I don't know what's wrong with Smyth. Back problem?

That's what I'm confused about. Checked the oilers page everyday and I hear nothing on Joensuu.

Petry leads the whole league in GA by a wide margin. He's in a league all on his own.

Sorry to be that guy..

I'm hurt!

But yeah, Flyers deserve more crap than you guys do. You are still rebuilding, even if it is dragging out longer than most people had thought. They were supposed to be contending now.

Yeah what is up with Petry lately? I was watching him all night and he seemed to be out of position for most of it. I'm not a huge fan, but I do see him as a player capable of playing top 4 minutes on a good team, but he wasn't that player tonight.

Still a big fan of Hall though.

You'd think we'd at least be mediocre, but we're not even that.

We might actually be WORSE than we were in 2010. And that was a very bad team.
