People still think that it's not the players fault for being terrible?

If Hall is out partying, maybe that is why he isn't captain of this team?

Young people party. Young people with money party a lot. Eakins cant ground them and send them to bed without supper, they're grown ups. If I played on this piece of crap team I'd be out partying a bunch too.
No. There's players, stars and superstars. The people with superstar status in any sport have an unparalleled work ethic. If taylor hall had the same discipline and work ethic as Yakupov he'd have at least 3 100 point seasons. Instead, he likes to spend his free time chain smoking and drinking until he can't stand straight.

I remember once, when Mess was in a slump in the 90 playoff run... it lasted quite a while... then he broke out and tore the house down, and they won the cup.

Nope it's legit, a friend of mine literally facetimed at the rack. They looked like they're having a great time.

If you guys think sitting in a pub without drinks with suits on interacting with fans your own age is partying then youve never partied.

They were freakin awful.
Have you seen every other game this year????!

This was an improvement. Frankly, it came down to a couple of mistakes that were capitalized upon. Usually, we are bumbling for 40 minutes straight and its total chaos. I haven't seen worse hockey. Tonight was solid. Instead of their entire team toying with us and laughing, it pretty much came down to Kessel and Reimer.

I got home in the middle of the second period. It was 3-0 so I decided not to watch and listen in on the radio instead. Over the last 28 minutes of the game, the play by play announcers had very little good things to say. A few hits and an attempted fight was all that stuck out.

Edmonton is so lucky to have fans that care more than I do at this point. If typical fans were like me we'd appear to have the most fair weather fans in the league.

You pinpointed the Oilers to a tee and you chastise the fans, priceless. When you get the time perhaps you can give me Bieber's tweet handle, you know his **** doesn't stink either. If you honestly believe Karma is why we suck.... wow.

Law of averages and the Oilers time is coming again. Book it. Put money on it and cash in. We will all be rewarded.
The empire of Katz has won over this young person. When you get the chance perhaps you and drakee, drakkee the drake can honestly put forth the effort as to how this team will magically turn it all around. I love a feel good story no matter how illogical it sounds.

Let's try 3 or 4 more coaches before looking at the players and management.

GTFO with this crap. This fanbase has put with more over the past 7 years than any fanbase in north american professional sports. The idea that anyone would have the gall to chastise the ****ing fanbase of this team is mind boggling.

A lot of these guys are champions and have worked hard all thier lives to become #1 picks. They need to unwind and have some fun. It's not thier fault they work for a loser that rode Gretzky and Messier for his many Rings which he so proudly thinks he earned.

Only one thing wrong with the Team, that is Kevin Lowe. How many years this must be reinforced before it's fixed is up to Katz.

The biggest mistake Lowe made was probably not to fire Tambellini earlier. Otherwise I doubt he's very much involved in the day-to-day hockey decision-making of the club.

Holy smokes, do you not see Lowe in the skybox (Toronto game) with Mac-T. Do you not hear Lowe when he has a press conference claiming "he knows how to win and will turn this thing around, in case anyone is wondering". Does this not indicate he is involved ?

How some people keep defending the guy is beyond belief, in fact I don't believe it and I think I'm having a nightmare right now...lol

Hopefully we draft neither. I don't want to watch the Oilers ruin either of their promising careers they've worked hard for. Let's draft Nylanders kid and let him bust just to stick it to Michael's wife.
