Pretty sure Pageau is on the hot seat.

Either way, I don't think Stone would come up for a few weeks at least, if he does.

Injury report Only 10 healthy forwards were on the ice Monday

Injury report::::::::::

Only 10 healthy forwards were on the ice Monday for practice as the team tries to get healthy for the weekend.

Center Jim O’Brien left Saturday’s loss to Adirondack with a muscle pull in his lower body. Richardson expects him at practice sometime this week and to be ready to play next weekend. Right winger Andre Petersson has missed three games in a row, and his status remains uncertain after feeling soreness following some on-ice sessions late last week.

Right winger Mark Stone has been practicing with the team for the past few days but is still avoiding contact as he recovers from a shoulder injury suffered in the season opener on Oct. 5. Richardson said Stone is ahead of schedule but unlikely to return this weekend.

Agreed. Stone will have to play very well in those 2-3 games to get a call up.

As for the Sens playing like crap, there isn't much to suggest otherwise at this point.

The lovefest for Stone is just crazy on this forum. He's just been average the short time he's been in Bingo and he's the next savior according to some. Grant belongs in the NHL way beyond what often injured riddled Stone has to offer.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Mark Stone tied with SDC in Bingo for the most pts last season in the regular season, in his first pro-season? And wasn't he also tied with Wideman in last yr's playoffs for most pts although the team lost in the first round? Some of us are very interested in Stone because he seems to put up pts everywhere he has been. He was second in scoring in the 2011-2012 season in the WHL with 123 pts & was Canada's top scorer in the WJC that yr. He has had his share of injuries though, that is a concern but his offensive abilities are intriguing to say the least.

That's great and all, but the Sens don't need more scoring. They need a defensive team effort. From watching pre-season games it was obvious his defensive game is not his strong suit. I don't see him coming up until he starts blowing away people in the AHL. That could be a while.

By the way, that is one reason why SDC is not up as well.

He may have been, but he is the kind of player that doesn't really seem to make an impact but i guess ends up doing so. A lot of people have the same dislike of Greening up in Ottawa, even though he still ends up putting up his numbers.

I don't see Stone being the kind of player people think he is going to be. I think Ottawa has a lot of average forward prospects but with the exception of Ziba, Puempel, Lazar, I don't see any "studs".

Even though he's a D-man you gotta throw Ceci in the mix. He has made an impact and will continue doing so as with the game on the line you'll find him out on the ice. His hockey instincts are just awesome on the offensive side.

I hope to remain optimistic, but from what I have seen and by the numbers I'm not sure if puempel is anything more than ordinary himself. Hopefully he picks it up a bit. Maybe I set my expectations too high!

When you watch a player live, and you see how they can impact a game with their skill you gain a different opinion. Puempel has that, I also agree with you Ski that Ceci has that knack too.

Players like Petersson and Stone, put up numbers put don't really have any moments where they just take the play on their back and go.

Binghamton has only 10 forwards available......

I figure Jakub Culek was called back up, along with Pageau now they have 12 who can play this weekend...................

If JOB can play then Jakub Culek will be the extra forward...............
