Halloween

Do you guys dress up for Halloween ? I haven't this year and I kind of feel cheap

Thing is I'm going at the MSG tonight for the Buffalo vs. NYR game. Do people dress up and should I find one for tonight?

Halloween, Valentine, Mothers day and all those money ****** days are my least favorite days of the year.

Awesome costume, Jee. Wish I had that one.

I'm going out tonight with the kids. My oldest son and I will both be pirates, my daughter will be a hybrid between a witch and a princess and my youngest will be a dragon.

I really enjoyed Halloween when I was a child. As for most people, things changed as I got older. I still love watching horror movies on that night, but something's missing. Now my girlfriend is pregnant so I expect Halloween to be fun again in a couple of years

Speaking of movies, these are the films which I feel best embody the spirit of the Halloween season. Not the scariest or best of the horror genre, but the films with the right mood and atmosphere.

Halloween (1979)
Creepshow (1982)
Night of the Living Dead (1968)
Evil Dead II (1987)
Fright Night (1985)
Re-Animator (1985)
House of 1000 Corpses (2003)
Pet Sematary (1989)
The Legend of Hell House (1973)
The House of the Devil (2009)
Psycho (1960)

Happy Halloween

I'm in a cast at home recovering (broken ankle) so I'm just Jimmy Stewart from Rear Window...

Really depressing Halloween guys need some cheering up.

I feel your pain. I'm rehabbing from a torn ACL and it got pretty depressing at times during the first month, when I couldn't walk.

Ask someone to go get candies for you

AMC's been bringing it all month with the classics (and not-so-classics). I've watched a lot of Halloween, Friday the 13th, Chucky, Candyman...

I'm trying to decide what to watch tonight. Maybe I'll re-watch a classic or try something new. Any suggestions?

Actually have a couple of sympathetic friends coming by to eat candy and drink beer. Might not be so crappy after all. Haha.

How long is the recovery for your ACL and how'd it happen?

Then it won't be crappy. Candies and beer are a good mix.

The whole rehab takes approximately 6 months. I'll be able to work soon but before I can go back to play hockey/soccer or even jogging, it's 3-5 months away. It happened while playing ball hockey. Went to get the ball in the corner, the D pushed me in the back and ny leg got stuck. The knee took all the damage.

I have 3 brand new yellow hazmat suits à la Breaking Bad for sale at $35 each if anyone is interested. They only came in packs of 4 unfortunately so I have no use for the 3 others. PM me if interested.

Been watch AMC as well, but I've been very disappointed so far for many reasons: they have edited every movie to remove nude scenes and all the cursing, their marathons were always off (ex.: Chucky marathon started with Chucky 2...) and they really do have too many ads.

It always seemed weird to me that you can show someone getting their head bashed in but not someone's bare breasts...

And yeah the chronology has definitely been out of whack. I don't think the first Halloween aired until last night, but 2 and 3 and 4 were all aired earlier.

Anyway they've been fun to put on when there's nothing better on or to play in the background.

when they first aired the Halloween marathon, I think it was 2 weeks ago, they went H1, H2, H4, H20
