I thought that's what "Junior Teams" do?

Pffft... He slashed Reimer's glove once. He gets close to a goaltender, maybe an incidental bump. To compare that to repeated lumber across his back or the Greene Falcon Punch to the back of the neck? This is comparing a 3 to an 7.

It doesn't matter. You hit a goalie once you are screwed for a very long time. LA is still pissed from the playoffs. You don't just get hit once and everything is forgotten.

And you believe that because of the game Perron plays, the refs are justified to allow him to be punished in ways that would otherwise draw penalties if he was another player?

Reading an Edmonton Journal link isn't really playing detective.

I think they're justified.

When you have a reputation as a diver, you don't get the benefit of the doubt on calls.

Don't give the refs a reason to have to question whether a play was a dive or a penalty.

This whole team dives, not sure why I think we are more dangerous at even strength. Our PP is a joke.

I'm not sure why they got away from what worked so well last season. Our PP should get better when Hall returns and we run with Hall, RNH, Gagner, J.Schultz and whoever else.

I loved that setup where RNH is on the half wall.

Tripping and high sticks to a degree I can understand. But letting opposition have free reign to crosscheck the **** out of him because he's got a reputation? On the spectrum of ease of embellishment, crosschecks don't stand with diving and high sticks.

Guys like Perron, Kesler, Burrows, Marchand etc. have made a lot of officials look like fools. Like it or not refs remember and don't give them the benefit of the doubt and turn a blind eye at times.

It is if that's the only info we've been able to get for the past two weeks.

Looks bad.

How about:

Hall Gagner Yakupov
Perron RNH Eberle
Joensuu Gordon Hemsky
Gazdic Arcobello Smyth
Jones in place of Joensuu perhaps

This lineup still stinks...

Probably so they don't have to waive him.

I saw some Blues fan speculating about a concussion

blah, blah, blah. they had some tough luck and it cost them the playoffs. they were unable to overcome adversity because.... they're are not that good.

are they better than their record? maybe, not actually proven

are they good? no.

I hope that it's not whiplash and/or concussion related.

Good news for the #Oilers. Taylor Hall is back on the ice today. Justin Schultz also present after missing yesterday's practice.

Good good

Ya, that's what stops him from being protected imo. Not his tendency to embellish some calls
