When Angelo wants to he can really just control a game, but it almost seems like he relies more on pure talent than actually understanding the game per say. Like I could see him as a kid that really struggles when he can't get by on talent alone.

I don't always see the hustle out of him I expect and there are times he looks rather indifferent to both defense and scoring that requires him to occassionally go to the boards or dig a puck free.

He's very talented, but I just don't know sometimes about him.
That is a pretty scary comparison for any soon to be drafted player to saddled with.

A few years ago I was at a BBQ with a few NHLers. Daigle's name came up and heads just shook in disgust followed by the comments about how the guy was a huge waste of talent.

James Sheppard
Claude Giroux
James Van Riemsdyk
Kyle Turris

How would you rank them overall, and then offense wise.

Thank you. Someone else who acknowledges the ******** attempt to save hockey in Pittsburgh by force-feeding them every single good young player. The fans just don't seem to care there. Big game against the flyers a week or two ago it was, and they only managed 12,500. Pathetic.

Tavares was cut as well... I have a very good feeling that John Tavares will be back. That's a guy I'd like to get... 45 goals in the OHL, a league dominated by 18-20 year-olds as a 15 year-old... insane.

It's nice to cheer for a country that can afford to cut a kid like Tavares.

If there were ever a player to move up for, Tavares might be one of them.

The package we'd have to give up, though, would probably be HEFTY.

Seems like teams are less likely to give up a pick that will net a player like that for the "bucket 'o prospects" deal. If we had that pick I would sure hope that Sather & Co. would keep him at nearly any price......oh but I'd love that pick!!!

that's crazy, it should be near expected that he get cut from the team...espo is all offence and they have older, more experienced guys to put on the first two lines. if im not mistaken only two draft eligible's are still left and they are intelligent, great all around players in Gagner and Alzner.
