Skill galore, but does not play Groulx's system..had several turnovers, took a couple of dumb penalties. Luckily Drouin wasn't really clicking.

Halifax has done it again.....guess they're going to have a treat to watch every year - this Ehlers kid is an exceptional skater...really quick and great edges. Runs the power play from the same spot Drouin did last season, but Drouin is now the full-time QB on the point. Drouin ended up playing with Ehlers for most of the game, and they will be fun to watch if they are kept together..they'll play keep away almost at will. Ehlers wasn't afraid to throw a hit either..and tonight at least competed harder than Drouin.

In this draft year, I doubt very much Ehlers gets drafted as late as Frk. He looks like a first rounder to me, maybe top 15.
Yep, I saw Gatineau twice this year and Reway, while obviously extremmely skilled, turned the puck over multiple times.. As you say Groulx is probably pretty irritated watching him play since he is a high risk player.. He is pretty fun to watch though, his hands are gold..

Oh, WTK --- Weegar was injured during the game (more accurately, during a fight). Knee/ankle/whatever.
He's quick, personally having seen both play on the same ice, I found Audette to be quicker than Ehlers. Audette to me was superior in every aspect of the game on that night. It's a damn shame that he's so small...

Carrier isn't eligible for this draft; if he was, say, 6'0 185 instead of 5'10 165, he'd probably be on every scout Top-15 for next season.

Thrower is having a pretty good season so far:

Yep...scored the OT winner last night. It was the right call to send him back to the WHL for this season. With Nygren/Pateryn/Dietz/Ellis on the right side and Lefebvre's bizarre love for guys like Chouinard and Schiestel, Thrower would be barely playing in Hamilton.

As for Reway, I think it's fair to say he's too talented for his own good right now.

Grégoire scored the game tying goal with 2 seconds left to keep his point streak going last night.

Hudon's Sags will be on TVA Sports tonight and tomorrow.

I still say he'll be better off converting to RW.

I agree but that comment is going to attract a lot of flak. Be prepared

This is the thinnest NCAA group we've had in a few years. And with Trouba and co graduating, BC seems like the only worthwhile team to watch. Maybe Notre Dame and Minny but they're not as star studded.

Wow, Hudon is on FIRE to start this game and finally gets rewarded with a goal. At least his 4th scoring chance in about 3 shifts.

Not watching, but 4 goals allowed on 11 shots so far for Fucale.

This game is ridiculous. Tied 4-4 after the first. Fucale's backup is in to start the second. I wouldn't read too too much into it, though, since the Moose are in a tough 3-in-4 on the road this week.

It's actually reminding me of game 4 with these two teams in the Q semis last year, where Fucale let in 6 goals but was named the game's second star, lol.

Not to mention their two best D-Mens are out.

McCarron keeps the pointless streak alive. Seven games. Time for him to sit out a few weeks and heal up if he's not able to play like he wants to. No point in possibly letting an injury linger all year and ruin the season. It's a Memorial Cup year, they should be thinking ahead.

Crisp> Mccarron
DLR > collburg and Mccarron
Not saying it wont change but maybe its the underdog in me but i love the DLR and crisp picks so far.

Man... I was ready to give McCarron a few games to adapt but he really has nothing to show for.

Everybody is entitled to his opinion but that's what I got on the Knights thread

It is early so I'm not going to jump on him yet, but I expected more early from a 1st rounder. 4th line minutes tonight.
