Same, I hate TCN games for this reason. Hell I may end up watching it on my ipad via gamecenter just to get the HD stream

Hey remember last time it was an Olympic year and we got crushed by the Capitals in a game that involved a questionable fight on the Flyers part shortly after hiring a new coach? Yeah lets hope we have a season like that happen this year. Sorry bringing up any shred of optimism, I just can't deal with this team being so bad.

I don't get why this team never gives the ahl guys more looks. Rosehill should have been passed over for some young fast players. Not sure how you can look around the league and not want that over Rosehill. Also would love to sit timonen a few games for rest/have someone that doesn't suck/try out a young guy that did very well for us last season purposes.

Flyers will win
That's an extremely bold and optimistic claim for any game this season right now.

Downie is expected to be released from the hospital this weekend... it is now specified as tomorrow (Sunday).

Lecavalier is still day-to-day until the next update.

I'm feeling a win too. If there was any game that could light a fire under their ***** and give them a reason to show some effort it was getting embarrassed like last night. I think all their other losses were just close enough to not really make them panic, but last night was a different story. For me this game is all or nothing, they can either completely pack it in and we can start discussing draft picks and trades or they can show some heart/effort/talent and give me a glimmer of hope.

I stopped after Anaheim scored the tying goal on Tuesday (because I knew they were so weak mentally it guaranteed a regulation loss) and I don't plan on watching again this year. They're a terrible, embarrassing joke of a team.

Kind of arbitrary to pick one game as the end-all, be-all this far into it.

They lost two skilled scorers, one of which was our best offensive player this season to injury. Both goalies played last night and we're in the tail-end of a back to back against a team we've sucked against for a long while now.

They've had twelve games now to turn it around and haven't shown up for any game besides one. They also had the entire Caps game, including before and after embarrassing themselves with that brawl, to score or even muster up a decent effort and did neither.

Just seems naive to me that they'll all be revved up to suddenly perform well just because they got destroyed more then usual and had a line brawl last night. It's also very worrisome that it takes twelve games, an embarrassing line brawl, and a bad blowout to get this team going if that truly is the case.

And if Mason hadn't played stellar every night except for the last one (and we all saw how that turned out) then we'd look even worse then them. Well, even more then we do now.

Unfortunately, the Devils actually know how to score.

Well, they've only scored six more goals than the Flyers.

Lol..going from what? 79 games in HD on CSN to the very few on the CN feels like torture.

I'm very excited that I miss that awful display of **** last night, I'm still thinking the Devs have the Flyers number and nothing changes except how much more it hurts when they lose
That was my doom and gloom response
But really I hope they come out and show emotion play with grit and sandpaper, skate hard and do the basics well, and Roo pots his first

Six goals this early in is a lot. With twelve games played, if the Flyers had scored six more over the course of those games that would average out to one more goal every other game.

Refer to my earlier post. We have injuries, are below you in the standings, just got blown out really badly, are on the tail-end of a back-to-back, and get destroyed by your team almost every time in recent history. Our only bright spot so far this season has been Mason and we saw how it turns out when he doesn't excel in net for us last night against Washington.

Trust me, we have more reason to think we'll lose this one then you guys do.

This may end up being the most boring game in the history of hockey. The fact that it has to be watched is SD makes it even worse!

Here's a tip. get it to OT and you are guaranteed a W.

If this gets to shootout I have no doubt this will be the battle of suck since we both suck so badly at shootouts.

Really? 0-3 this year in the shootout. I guess if it gets that far it could be a long night.

Check your record against The Flyers in shootouts and check our record in shootouts overall.

Agree to disagree.

Anyway, here's to hoping for a miracle and it's at least an entertaining game.

Cheers!
