Apparently his fiancees mother is ill and he is going home to deal with it. The team has suspended him to retain his rights, but will allow him to play in the Czech Republic.
Hopefully we are just doing the right thing here and there isn't some sort of rift with him. Losing Barinka would seriously tarnish the Havlat trade. Looks like Bingo gets screwed again.
Bingo Sens fans have been saying he's been out for a while with some sort of sickness, but has been seen around town at concerts and what not and might not be getting along with the Bingo coach.
When I saw him play, I wasn't too impressed, but, he's a young prospect with some NHL experience, so, he would have been nice to have around as a call-up.
It's a big loss for Bingo though, whose season is going pretty bad as it is. At least next year should see an infusion of talent, as guys like Lee, Bass and Foligno (?) are able to play for them, assuming they don't make the Sens squad.
Hopefully, things work out for Barinka. Even if he is planning on going back for family reasons, I'm sure he'll be evaluating his chances of making it to the NHL. Once he goes back home, there's always the chance that he doesn't return.
Why don't the idiot Muckler learn his lesson and stop drafting these clowns from Russia and eastern europe.
Their Quiters.
First, Muckler didn't draft him. Second, you're unfairly generalizing. Third, you managed to mis-spell every word in an entire paragraph. Way to go.
Seriously, though, you're calling Barinka a quitter (sorry, I meant quiter) because he left with his future wife to see to her ailing mother back home?
Your in Bingo, so maybe you are just frustrated by their play, but what was that post about?
it is about speeza, vermette, kelly, emery, neil, volchenkov, schubert...keep going EVERY player that was in bingo during the lockout....they ARE QUITTERS...and they are soft like a wendys frosty. they quit on us in the playoffs...and they do the same in ottawa.....
oh yea...(sens management)..thanks for taking our 50+ goal scorer from last year.....so he can sit on the bench and not play AT ALL...

And if Hamel was good enough to play he would. I am sure hes happy being in the NHL every day rather then riding a bus in the AHL.

I don't even know what to say to this post. I couldn't even understand it firsthand, but then I'm thinking, are you calling Neil, Emery, Vermette , Kelly soft?
You sound bitter, because I couldn't of possibly read that. Kelly can't finish, but he's soft. Vermette, you've got to be kidding me. He's always on his *** from trying to make hits. And Neil, maybe you have bad vision? How about Emery.. LOL ... maybe you have something against ex - Junior C goalies.
Spezza yeah, he's soft in a sense. He doesn't want to take the hit. But he has soft hands, which helps with scoring I guess.
