No. But to say he's 9-0 cuz he "inherited a talented team" is completely idiotic. But whatever.

Looking at stats without context is very dangerous.

How good was the rest of the NFCE while your boy was coaching here?

yup, he is slightly above average. thanks for agreeing with me. His last 7 after they made the superbowl speaks for itself.

How many division titles did the birds win that decade I forget. **** I wish I was alive when they were much more successful in the 60s,70s,and 80s...good times from what I've read.

66-61-1 in the 2nd half of his tenure, that is real stellar! what a gem of a coach that got away. All those playoff games that were lost because of him.

Parcells has two superbowls, which is two more than he will ever win.

Reid took advantage of when the NFC East was at its worst. And it proves it because he couldn't make the superbowl and when he did, he lost.

I don't understand the hate for Reid. Sure, he won the NFC east when it was at its worst, but he still won it! He's gone, let it go.

I don't hate Reid for the most part, but until he wins the big one, he'll always be considered second tier. And this year isn't proving anything. Out of their 9 wins, I think 5 of the games have come against a QB making their first start this year (or career).

I don't hate Reid, just injecting some reality about his abilities.

Well, I am a bit pissed. The guy left this team as a semi-solid turd due to his terrible drafting and coaching hires.

I just think it's funny that he had a lot of regular season success playing crappy NFC teams, and this year has been the same thing. They haven't played a team with a winning record yet.

We'll see what they do against Denver.

Still gotta win those throwaway games. A lot of teams don't.

That's true, but honestly as of now they are going to play 3 games against teams with winning records this season, and 2 of those games are Denver.

Wow, some of the articles discrediting Nick Foles' performance are just astonishing. And I love holding it against Foles because "it was against the Raiders". How many other quarterbacks threw for 7 TDs this season against the Raiders?

The combined record of the opposition for the Chiefs is 27-49 and 4 out of the last 5 teams they've played, the QB starting for those teams were the first game of the year and/or career.

It's a good and fair point but Andy Reid doesn't make the schedule. All he can do is play the games he's given. I'll be interested to watch the Denver game. I think Denver wins but I imagine it'll be closer than people think.

Again, not saying he's to blame for his schedule, but this team is a mirage and they still have Alex Smith at QB. The Denver game will be a great measuring stick and I think they get smoked. Buffalo WRs were smoking the Chiefs CBs all game, but it comes down to that pesky QB position of them not getting them the ball.

They play SD & DEN twice in the final games, both offense can move the ball and score. Giant test. And they also get Indy thrown in there, so out of the final 7 games, 5 of them will be against Manning/Rivers/Luck.

The Chiefs will beat the Broncos. Remember where you heard it first.

Oh, and Richie Incognito's a real d-bag, huh?

Not an Eagles fan, but I've never understood the Reid hate... It's impressive to see what he's done with Kansas City, albeit he was handed the keys to a team that's been stock piling good players through the drafts. Still takes someone to make them gel... Will say this though - the Broncos, whom most people are gushing over in the media have played just as ****y teams, just running up the score in the process. KC, on the other hand has a stellar defense, which typically helps when weather turns.

A lot of it is due to the horrid time management, refusal to run the ball and bad drafts he had towards the end of his time here. Then of course, he never won a Super Bowl, which the city has been starving for forever.
