This still feels oddly backwards for me. Why is this? Shouldn't games run better in single player due to there being generally less for the console to do?
Size of level and objects involved I would think. More AI in single-player. Guerrilla talked about this:
“Graphically single-player is even a step above multiplayer. There’s even more destructibility. We analysed what 60 brings. 60 in multiplayer is really important because your reaction time is a lot shorter. In single-player it’s actually a lot longer. It’s not because our AI is stupid, but because you simply have more time to react. We said we don’t need 60, and we want the graphical push."
So...I have a preorder locked in from the summer, will be shipped the 15th, but from reading this thread it doesn't even come with a game?
I believe and someone can correct me if wrong youll get a 14day pass for Playstation+ w/a launch console. There are several free games on that until you decide what game to buy be it Killzone, COD, etc etc whatever.
I know I'm one that will probably never play COD again, outside of 4 and earlier games, but in Giant Bomb's review of COD, they mention that the Dualshock 4, out of a lot of different controllers, was the best of all of them. So it seems that Sony took back the "best controller award" (possibly) away from Xbox.
