Yeah I was just kidding.

Ottawa is going to light up McElhinney. I can see Ottawa having 5 or 6 goals this game pretty easily.

Columbus is a hard working team. It won't be easy to get goals, but they don't have much firepower, either.

Should be a win.

(...)Be it a third straight standout performance by backup goaltender Curtis McElhinney or a bounce-back game from star starter Sergei Bobrovsky, a good night in net tonight could do wonderful things for the backsliding Blue Jackets.

“We have to do something to give us some confidence,” coach Todd Richards said. “It can come from the goaltending position, getting some key saves. I thought we got that on Saturday. It’s too bad we wasted it (a 3-0 home loss to Pittsburgh), but that’s the one position that can really control things and turn things around for you.”

Richards said yesterday that he had not decided who would start against the Ottawa Senators at Nationwide Arena. Bobrovsky has been hit-and-miss this season after winning the Vezina Trophy as the NHL’s top goalie last season. He was pulled from a 4-2 loss at Pittsburgh on Friday and sat out the rematch on Saturday. McElhinney has played in three games. He saved 24 of 26 shots on Saturday and is 1-1 with a 1.55 goals-against average and .949 save percentage.

That would just be unethical and immoral.

Our boys have a tendency to make backups look like Vezina winners.

Adjusted lines for the CBJ (from here: http://bluejackets.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=683102)

Anisimov - Dubinsky - Gaborik
Umberger - Johansen - Atkinson
MacKenzie - Letestu - Comeau
Collins - Chaput - Boll

Nick Foligno will not play tonight, Richards said, as he's dealing with a personal matter.
He and his wife had their first child (a girl) a few weeks ago. There were some health problems, my guess is that this is related.

Nikitin in, Savard out.

It is an easy win for the opponent.

Hopefully the backup goalie curse ends tonight.

Haven't the last two backups we've played both been pulled after 4 goals?

Leaf fan coming in peace, curious how many back-up goalies have you faced this season?

The opponent has started the clear backup 3 times against the Sens. Andersen, Stalock and Khabibulin.

I don't count Reimer or Brodeur.

Hard to win tonight when 4 of our 6 defenseman handle the puck like a grenade.....Not sure what Maclean is doing this year.

Gryba has been one of our better d-men, and Wiercioch has been struggling. Not surprising.

Played Gustavsson for 45mins after Howard got pulled. Dont think that counts though.

The Sens have forced an opposing goalie to be pulled 3 times. They are 1-1-1 in those games.
