Mason has cemeneted my belief that Goalies are completely and utterly unpredicatable from a year to year basis. He was so bad in Columbus and he has been a stud for us.

It's shocking how bad this teams puck skills diminished. They can't skate with it for more than a few seconds, can't complete a pass.

Hey he looked below average rushing the middle there on that rush where Raffl fired it on net. That's more than we could ask for with him.

Like i said before, our PP amounts to a bunch of passing with nothing coming of it since we have no way to translate that to chances. When you're just passing and passing with no real chances it's either going to get cleared eventually or lead to a SH chance.

Can a goal be called back because of an interference by the ref?

Are all 3 of Carolinas shots on odd man rushes?

It's not exactly the same team and the players on this team left over from then have had their games fall off a cliff and get buried by a sea of suck.

It does not help that everytime the puck is on anyone not called Giroux or Voraceks stick on the 1st PP it is turned over!

Everyone besides Mason has no confidence. No confidence at all.

Well, outside of those two and Lecavalier we don't have any PP threats really with the way Hartnell and Simmonds are performing. So that's going to happen when they take Lecavalier off the PP.

Couts has a shot-- I've seen it, but he looks uncomfortable with the puck.

Did Voracek just miss the net from 18 inches out?

Weird vibe to this game thus far. On a side note, I really like these new Canes jerseys.

You can tell that apart from the rest of the team?

We have all seen his shot, when he had that goal scoring streak two years ago it was near perfect. It is just he along with everyone else has no confidence in their game, worrying and panicking with the puck too much.

Also, I love how this team is having puck possession issues and we put mez and gill In who handle the puck like a grenade

Wow Streit, give Grossmann a pass he can handle. He's like 5 feet from you.

This reminds me of the NJ game. Battle of the sucky sucks. Except our starter is in and their third string goalie is in so it's actually more depressing if anything. Maybe slightly less boring. Also, no horn guy.

JJ should be honest: "(Couts) Stops. Waits. Making an incredibly low percentage pass into a crowd."
