Kevin Montgomery

I've heard some rumblings that he could leave OSU very soon to join the Knights. Anyone else heard this?

I can also confirm that Kevin Montgomery has also turned and signed to the Knights.....Good for the Knights a good defenceman who costed them nothing.

It is certain that it did not cost them any players, if that is what you mean. I would guess there would like be some agreement for tuition though in place of the scholarship he just left. That would not be cheap.

He sounds like he is more than worth it though.

Agreed, methinks I'm going to be paying more for beer at the JLC soon.

I thought all players, who go on to post secondary education, receive tuition money or some sort of scholarship for each year in the CHL?

While a player is playing in the OHL he goes to school for free be it college or university. Also they have a free amount of education years as they had ohl service. If someone plays in the OHL for four years he recieves four free years of tuition from the team they played for.
