And it does. Team didn't deserve a 5-2 loss, they played a pretty good game.
It was really good, had even strength cycling for a good amount of time.

Interesting though when someone was checked through the glass, they ended the period with 3 min left and played it after intermission then switched sides.

the kid got a hug from Jansen and a bunch of free stuff, jersey, pucks stick. lucky kid.

It's mysteriously absent from the recap on Albany's site, but Helgeson threw a hit on a Portland player that shattered the glass.

Yea they didn't even show a replay in the arena, probably cuz that lady got cut.

Edit: or probably because Albany is just horrible with replays. Good thing they spent a million on that fancy new jumbo tron.

Not sure if serious, Albany's guy is brutal. And he whimpers "score" when the other team scores.

Just a matter of opinion I suppose, but I cant stand his way of talking.

Can he skate as well as Urbom?
Urbom can move well for a big guy.

Hi, do you guys have any information, stories or mythos about Chad Wiseman? He is going to play in Sweden (ÖIK, Östersunds IK) the rest of the season and he is an ex Alban so I thought I could write you a query about him. He seems as a leader guy and also as a nice personality in the one article I have read about him.

At least the Albany announcer gets the names of the players right and can come up with something other than "sharp angle shot."

I would love to see what he can do on the same line as Matteau. That could be a very physical line.

So I imagine people are happy with Boucher's start? On pace for 25+ 60+. Does this dispel some of the concern about his ability to handle the physicality of the pros? Goal and an assist in 2 of the last 3 games. And while he gets a lot of shots on net hes shooting % is fairly low. Not sure if that is an argument for sustainability or not.

Olesz has 3 points in 3 games down there as well. He might not have been any great shakes while he was up, but I still see him as a good depth player.

It's ridiculous that we can't make any judgments on whether he was a quality shooter or a quantity shooter in the OHL, since they don't publish ANY shot-on-goal data. I didn't realize he was even on pace for such a good season this early. That's a really good sign, especially if it looks like he isn't benefitting from some unsustainable shooting.

He's been playing with Whitney, right? That probably doesn't hurt.

The problem with Boucher is that he is terrible on the cycle, weak along the boards in both offensive and defensive zone and below average defensiely. As a winger in the NHL, that is a lot of flags.

If he still has those problems in 3 years I would be concerned.

I agree, if he can be as good as even Josefson on the boards he will be able to fill a role at the NHL level.
