He did well, but he told a pretty big lie when he said that he DID rotate the players. He didn't until he had no choice. If he thinks he did a good rotation, I'm not sure he should be back.

I learned not to get carried away by words, but what did he say to make you want him to stay?

He said the league have to improve tactically. When asked what they should improve specifically, he said everything, he said in Europe.they work on tactics everyday.

Nothing in particular... I guess I just feel really bad for him.

Nesta thinks that the MLS needs to improve tactically and thinks Schallibaum is steering the team in the right direction.

He wasn't happy with Schallibaum's decision not play him vs Houston. He said he has a lot of respect for him, though.

He also said his contract is up and that he'll sit down with Nick and Joey in the next few days to discuss his future with the team.

Arnaud's mad that he did not play last game. It's normal.

If he weren't pissed about not playing, he would be a loser. Glad he is mad, but I hope he will not be back.

Ferrari doesn't know if he'll be back next year. He has an option in his contract for 2014 but he'll have to sit down with Joey and Nick to discuss his future... He said many players are in this position right now. No one is guaranteed a spot on the team next season.

i found that weird that he said thatconsidering he is under contract but i guess he was just trying to say that with the way things ended there is no guaranteed spot for anyone

edit: didnt realize its an option on his contract...thought he was signed for next year

Hmm, that seems to put a lie to the press release from the summer:

Quote:
July 17, 2013 – The Montreal Impact announced on Wednesday that 12 players from the first team are currently under contract for the 2014 season: goalkeepers Troy Perkins and Evan Bush, defenders Jeb Brovsky, Hassoun Camara and Matteo Ferrari, midfielders Patrice Bernier, Felipe, Justin Mapp, Sanna Nyassi, Blake Smith and Collen Warner, as well as forward Andrew Wenger.

Plus the young graduates from the Academy, who continue to develop their skills and integrate into the club’s first team: goalkeeper Maxime Crépeau, defenders Wandrille Lefèvre, Maxim Tissot and Karl W. Ouimette, as well as midfielder Zakaria Messoudi.
Does that mean we can't take any of those names seriously?

Imagine Filosa in 10-15 years. He's gonna be the most annoying old radio guy ever.

Felipe's contract is until 2016 but he says "you never know.. I hope I come back."

Bernardello loves the team and the city and he hopes to be back next year.

It's not clear whether the option belongs to Ferrari or the team.

If it belongs to the team I'm pretty sure he'll be back, and that back then Saputo had no question in his mind. Since then Ferrari has struggled, they may have changed their mind but I doubt.

If the option belongs to Ferrari, then they should have specified it.

It's up to Bologna if Pisanu and Paponi stay in Montreal.

Rivas isn't sure if he'll back. Romero will meet with management on Monday.
