Now, that line is actually pretty damn funny! Just so everyone is clear... I'm not being sarcastic or facetious.

Meh, I have a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. I am the least socially skilled person I ever met!

As for the OP, I don't think you can compare point totals to understand this deal. A deal under duress (i.e., with an unhappy asset) will always look bad for the trading team.

Isles have problems. This is not one of them.

lol This is easily your best post...ever

Anyways, losing Nino still stings. I'm usually behind Garth, but I hate that trade. Still do and as long as Nino is in the NHL I feel like I always will.

Too few games to come to a conclusion?

We are doing the same with Poulin and Strome - when will they ask to be traded?
I hated this trade the second that I heard it. I loved the Nino pick and can't understand Snow's handling of Nino development, sticking him with 4th line has-beens, not promoting him after the lock-out and trading him for a garden variety 3rd liner. You don't dump a 5th pick after 3 years.

Why Snow couldn't have package him for Cory Schneider or Jonathan Bernier?

Snow isn't the head coach, he wasn't sticking him with 4th line has-beens.

I didn't close the trade thread only to relive this crap in another thread. Closed!

Don't bring this up for another year +.
